Healthy sized portions, reasonably priced and good service! I've had nothing but the best experience the last few times I've eaten here!

I had the huevos rancheros and it was delicious. I added bacon. The service was good and the food came out quickly. The beans had great flavor as well. I went on a Sunday morning at around 9 and it was full but I got a seat right away.

This is by far my favorite place for Tex-Mex Food. The tacos are a generous size and the flour tortillas are like our beloved grandmother's tortillas. The menudo tastes super delicious. I haven't had anything I didnt like from Rita's. A definite must go place.

Today's visit was disappointing. We had the chili con carne enchilada plate and the 2 cheese enchiladas with carne asada plate. The beans were not fully cooked; they needed about another half hour of cooking. The chili con carne was off. The tortillas were not very good, and got hard as they cooled, which made them seem like they were old or overcooked. We have had delicious meals here before, so this came as a sad surprise. Even the chips were stale. We may have to think twice about visiting again.

The waiters are very polite does get a little busy but not too busy, where you're waiting forever, compliments to the chef because of food is very Homestyle and good breakfast and dinner and all owners are very generous I would give this a 10 if it had 10 Stars, best breakfast

Ritas has some excellent "Tex-Mex" food! The coffee is great too. When I was working in the AC biz, my partner and I would stop here every morning for breakfast, good times!

Delicious tacos tortillas are homemade, and the salsa is good

Food was good but didn't stand out as the best Mexican food ever. I will go back and I do recommend.

Great little place we had breakfast at with childhood friend & his beautiful fiance that are regulars here at Rita's. The waitress was wonderful and knew my friends not only by name but also knew what there "usual" order was, too cool. Great food in even better company!!♡♡♡♡♡

It was delicious as usual! Too Bad they close early! Enjoyed the homemade tortillas & the Menudo is the Bomb never a disappointment!

Our favorite place for Sunday Tacos. Chiliquiles and Barbacoa are always on point. Many other good options too. Very nice servers and owners.
EDIT 05/2020: Great operations during the pandemic too. Glad they were able to handle it.

Best street tacos I've had in a long time. Just out here visiting from California and this little place was amazing. Service was quick and they were very nice. Thumbs up.

We are from Houston and have been coming to Rita's for almost 7 years since it was recommended to us by someone in San Antonio. It is a small place, but the food is homemade Mexican and so Good! They also have pancakes, eggs and bacon plate for the kids. Price is fair too.
Always a treat!

My family and I have been going to Rita's for many years, unfortunately Rita's have new owner. The new owner's treatment towards employees is very disappointing, she yells or talks to them with authoritarian intimidating actitude. Oviously she doesn't care people is watching, I feel for the mental distress that this employees are put through. The last time I was there was certainly the last one.

The Dark Side. Nestled at the end of a small strip center, Rita's dishes up a comida muy buena. Enchiladas, tacos, rice, beans, flautas, etc. - not a miss in the bunch. Good # of regulars for lunch; and lunch specials make for a pretty cheap tex-mex fix.

Wait staff is efficient but sometimes a little harried to display a welcoming smile. Interior is a little divey but comfortable which is oh so common in the hundreds of like kind tex-mex locales across the city.

The place is a little dark inside so watch yourself when you step in from a bright sunlight day. There is an "upper seating area" with a step and that first step can be a lulu (or maria, or juana, or bob, or janet, or . . . )
