Review Linda's Mexican Restaurant - San Antonio

Me and my husband came here on a whim, craving breakfast tacos and needing something affordable. We knew this place was good from the moment we walked in! We got all the food shown for less than $20 and it was delicious. Everything has a great authentic homemade flavor, including the tortillas. And the service was wonderful. We were constantly being checked on and were treated very well. Highly recommend and we will be back!

If you have never heard of this lil hole in the wall or if you are on the westside and want to grab a quick bite then I'd like to recommend Linda's on Guadalupe St. We have been going for many, many years. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious while the service is always great! Parking is in front of the restaurant, or across the street, or in the parking lot in the back. You are welcomed in once you walk in and you seat yourself at any one of the open area tables and handed a paper menu. On this day, we ordered: 2 bean and cheese tacos 1 weiner and egg taco 1 ham and egg taco 1 potato, egg, and cheese taco 1 carne guisada with cheese taco 2 sweet teas and a coffee totaling approx. $25 Happy eating!

Me and my husband been going here since we first met back in 2013. It was a first date meal and we found the best restaurant in San Antonio 🙂 The food is delicious especially the guisada with cheese my favorite and the bean and cheese tacos. I can go on to put the whole menu cause everything is good 🙂 The staff is amazing so nice and so sweet so is Linda and her husband. You might think its to good to be true but when you go you will see its all true and good price for the family ❤️❤️

Pick this place out because it was 2mi from out hotel. Read the reviews was a little skeptical about the location being on the west side of SA but our vehicle as safe we parked in front. When we entered the place was clean and the staff was very friendly and found out it family owned for 20 years. It shows in their cooking we ordered delicious and home made tortillas. The owners came around spoke with Everyone asking if we needed anything else and they were so polite. The was reasonably priced and I know we will be back again.

What a treat this place is. I am so glad to have happened upon it while in the neighborhood. Super friendly staff, good prices, and the tacos are fantastic. I had the Taquitos Al Pastor and they were so good, I took a machacado and a bean and cheese to go. The beans were perfect, a little spicy, excellent flavor. I will definitely be back.

Great lil spot i just started coming it was so good.

Stopped by this little place on my way from the bank, I knew right away when I walked in I was in the right place for some tacos, the Tejano music in the background, ordered my six tacos and a cup of hot cafe, las tortillas are homemade , and the potato and egg were made just right. Service was with a smile and my order was ready to go in less then 10. Will be back to try the Hippo.

I love the Chilaquiles plate, best place to eat them. Beans are also very tasty. Tortillas are great. My kind of place.

They toasted my tortilla and I had bacon and egg mixed. That's the way I like it. Ordered tacos to go. Awesome place 😎

Had a bean and cheese and bacon which was great had a Carne guisada that was also good they gave me a sample of the Menudo it needed a bit more seasoning but other than that it was real good

I hate trying new places to get menudo, but so glad we stopped in here. It was delicious! Had the menudo, barbacoa, and lengua. Service was great too. Clean place.

I had lunch here. My Gordita lunch plate was delicious. Responsive service. Standard Tex-Mex fare done well.

We had breakfast and I thought it was a bad decision but I was wrong everything is delicious and low prices and the servers excellent service kudos for Linda's restaurant

Our first time here and the food was delicious! The salsa was tasty, fresh tortillas, and the menudo was awesome! I was happy to see weenies and egg on the menu, this reminded me of many Satuday morning breakfasts in my younger years.

Unhappy w/Service. Last week we visited this restaurant on Sat., Aug. 18, 2012. When we first walked in, there was hardly any customers. The waitress thats been there for the longest time came over and took our drink order. Well she served us our drinks and proceeded to take our food order. I only ordered 2 tacos and my friend ordered a plate. As we sat there waiting for our food, other customers started coming in and it started getting busy. We waited 25 mins. and I finally asked our waitress if our food was coming and she said yes. She didnt bother to ask if we wanted refills for our drinks. She proceeded to take the other customers' orders and then I noticed some of those same customers were getting served before us. I then asked the waitress if there was a problem with our order because by now it had been 30 mins that we had waited and she claimed it was the cook and then proceeded to say that it was the order that we had placed. I then told her that I noticed three other tables that came in after us get served before us and that I didnt believe it was the cook. She then said she didnt know and she would ask the cook. I saw a table with one person get served a big Caldo and saw a couple get served two plates with 5 tacos and saw a table behind us get served 3 different plates and 1 taco so at that point I knew it wasnt the cook. I feel those customers go to that restaurant more often than we do, so she placed their orders ahead of ours, however, I also feel all the customers should be treated the same if the restaurant wants business. I feel this waitress was doing special favors for HER REGULAR CUSTOMERS. All customers should be treated the same.

Good barbacoa and great corn tortillas. This is a little gem on the westside, breakfast is good here.
