It's always wonderful when I can get back to San Antonio because I get to come to Bakery Lorraine. Everything here is fantastic including the employees. All the menu offerings are delicious and the bakery cafe is a real treat. Their coffee is the second best I've ever had (first best is a little place I grew up near c;) and I have traveled all over the US and parts of Europe. The atmosphere is upbeat and relaxing just like the music that's playing. Doing homework or office work here is not a problem, the music is kept low enough that I don't find it distracting. Though this is a very popular cafe the mellows towards the end of the day so there's ample seating. Weekends are livelier and you may have trouble getting a seat for brunch. Even if you aren't going to adopt Bakery Lorraine as your home-cafe-away-from-home and even if you're a die hard Starbucks loyalist I do encourage you to come by and give it a try, you definitely will not regret it. This bakery cafe is the reason why I stay at hotels at The Rim.

I wanted to take a moment to share my delightful experience at Bakery Lorrain that left me with a smile on my face and a satisfied tummy. I recently visited Bakery Lorrain and let me tell you, the coffee and baked goods they offer are nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped foot into the cozy ambiance filled with the delightful aroma of freshly baked treats, I knew I was in for a memorable experience. As a lover of all things sugary and delicious, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by the wide array of pastries on display. The selection at Bakery Lorrain is truly impressive, catering to every palate and preference imaginable. From flaky croissants to decadent cakes, there is something for everyone. The moment I took my first sip of their perfectly brewed coffee, I was transported to a state of pure bliss. The rich and aromatic blend tantalized my taste buds and complemented the scrumptious pastries flawlessly. Each bite was a symphony of texture and flavor, leaving me craving for more. But it wasn't just the exceptional food and beverages that made my visit memorable. The staff at Bakery Lorrain were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel welcome and ensured that my visit was nothing short of exceptional. Their passion for their craft shines through in every aspect of the bakery. I cannot recommend Bakery Lorrain enough. Whether you're a local looking for your daily caffeine fix or a visitor wanting to indulge in exquisite pastries, this charming bakery is the place to go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. In conclusion, my experience at Bakery Lorrain was nothing short of exceptional. The coffee was robust, the baked goods were delectable, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The impressive selection of pastries left me spoilt for choice, and I cannot wait to return for yet another delightful experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my joy-filled review. I hope it has piqued your interest and inspires you to pay a visit to Bakery Lorrain. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you.

I tried a handful of thinks on my visit. Strawberry toaster pasty was great and even better warmed! Lemon blueberry scone was ok, I thought it could have used a little more lemon zing to it. Passion fruit coconut tart was super good. Highly recommend. Dark chocolate lavender macaron was a stand out as well. Lastly the lemon curd kouign amann was very enjoyable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Liked and would recommend going here to family & friends. Food: I ordered the avocado toast with a side of smoked salmon, a macchiato, and a croissant. The avocado toast was rich, filling and a huge portion….enough for two people. However, the croissant lacked flavor and was a bit stale. I’ve had other pastries in previous visits so the croissant may have been a one off. Service: The servers at the counter were patient and helpful. Fast and courteous. Vibe: Light and bright space that was very welcoming. Each table had enough space between them that didn’t feel like they were on top of each other.

This is a great place to stop by for a nice meal and desserts. Their sweets are very good. The macarons are $3 each and are delicious. I just wish they were open later (they close at 6 PM usually).

Was able to stop here for a quick bite and I loved it. I got the veggie quiche with a side of potatoes. I had to add a pastry so I got the lemon blueberry scone. Everything was so good and I enjoyed every bite of it. I definitely recommend this place. I am from out of town so I will definitely be back when I visit again. I can't forget to mention that the staff was very kind and attentive. Thanks for a wonderful first experience at this lovely bakery.

Tasty food and fast service. Went in at noon for lunch and there was no line. I got the lunch special of half a sandwich and soup. The sandwich and the tomato soup were tasty although the portions were small for the price. If you are looking for larger portions of food go elsewhere. Nice decor and friendly staff.

Bakery Lorraine never misses for me. The tomato soup is comforting. The BLT is always perfect, and the not pictured cookie I devoured before our food came, was delicious. This one isn’t as busy as their Pearl location. Offers tons of seats if you’re looking to get some work done and have a good lunch.
