Sapore's Pizza

The crust is light and crispy to where it’s almost flaky. That is what everyone else gets wrong about New York style and this place gets right. The sauce and cheese are complimentary and go well with this crust. I wish the pepperonis were a little crispier but the texture and flavor of this slice is perfect. It’s now what I consider the best in SA for New York Style pizza. 2 slices and a drink is under $10 if you pay cash, I little pricier than other slices in town but worth it.

I come out of my way often just for Sapores‘s Authentic Italian Pizza The Pizza is cooked to perfection, the Peppi poppers are extremely filling and is just amazing the garlic knots are a great appetizer as well. If you want good pizza that beats your commercial type of restaurants this is the spot! Please give this Genuine Italian spot a try it’s worth it, that’s a promise!

This place is without a doubt 5 stars across the board! My wife and I celebrated her bday here and the staff was super friendly and nice. The owner, who is from Naples, Italy, was very pleasant to speak with as well. We ordered a variety of food from wings, garlic knots, pizza, and panino. This pizza was hands down the best we've had in SA compared to other various well-known pizza places. The crust was perfectly baked and had a nice crunch to it. The ingredients were all fresh and very well seasoned. Trust me, you have to try this place. The garlic knots were very buttery, and the meatball panino was nothing short of amazing. We will definitely be coming back to try the pasta among other dishes. Molto bene. Grazie!
