Baghdad Restaurant & Bakery - San Antonio - Photo album

The food was excellent and the customer service was very personal but always on top of their stuff. I ordered a mixed plate and shared with one other person and we had plenty of food. The fresh tea and baklava are literally the best in San Antonio. Just so, so good and highly recommend visiting!
Displace is severely underrated in this town. Every time I've gone there's only been maybe two other couples there and I honestly don't understand why. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything that I have ever gotten or the family has ever gotten, we have loved. I will say this however, the servic
Cozy corner restaurant with authentic food and friendly staff always willing to help anyone unfamiliar with the menu. Highly recommended!
Baghdad Bakery and Restaurant. Located slightly outside 410 on Evers. It’s a gem of a restaurant. The bread appetizer was piping hot and felt like it came straight from the oven. The lamb kobab sandwich which has lamb and salad inside a pita bread was amazing for $7. We also tried the mixed grill pl
I recommend this restaurant, very nice and kind family managing the service
This place is incredible. Authentic Iraqi food, run by a family of five. They just expanded the restaurant to include a hookah bar, and the hookah is exceptional. Last night I had the grilled fish, at the suggestion of the waitress, and even though I don't like fish it was the best thing I have eate
I really like this place. I've only been in twice, but both times the food great. The first time was for a late breakfast. I can't remember what it's called, but I had the plate that has ground beef and eggs. It came with a salad, which was a little odd to me at first. It was all very tasty though.
Great food and great service at an affordable prices! It's my to go place when I'm in San Antonio. Also I recommend it to whoever wants to start on the middle eastern food and the Iraqi cuisine in specific. Authentic taste!
The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. The food is authentic and tasty. Everyone is welcomed like family. Fresh hot Iraqi bread is served with your meal. Portion sizes are large and filling. The kabobs are flavorful - chicken, beef or lamb. The tikki chicken is one of my favorites. The fish and
2nd time eating here. Tasty food. Definitely recommend if you've had Iraqi food before or even if you haven't. It is ok if you don't know what you want. The staff are extremely helpful (Family owned and operated I believe) and both times they helped me figure out what to order. I can vouch for t
When I was deployed to Iraq, the Iraqi's I was advising recommended this place. They said it was the most authentic Iraqi food in San Antonio. They had spend long periods of time here in San Antonio learning English. I decided to take my daughter's here to try the Cuisine. The Restraint is one o
Authentic tastes! The chicken in my biryani was exceptionally flavorful and tender. If you're feeling adventurous, give the tashreeba a try. It's a dish with soft bread soaked in tomato- based soup, with rice and lamb on top. Also, the zaatar and bread to start off the meal were worth the visit alon
The wait time may seem long for some people but believe me ,the food worth every minute. the hot bread is freshly prepared and it is real Iraqi bread The family who run the restaurant are super nice the prices are reaonable All in All it was perfect experience for me in San Antonio
Baghdad restaurant has amaaazing food! We've had some pretty authentic Iraqi kabobs in Dearborn, MI (where there's a large Iraqi population) and this restaurant is just as good! The mixed grilled items are juicy and tender, the hummus is flavorful and a good consistency, and the bread is fluffy. Als
Good food, good service, friendly staff. My family had a leisurely meal. We were there mid afternoon and were the only diners not middle-eastern, but we were made to feel very welcome. There was a little cultural confusion regarding serving hot tea after meal instead of wirh meal, but wsiter apo
Good Arab food. Interesting Arab breakfast dishes too. You don't find that very often. The family running it are lovely people. Note, there is no actual bakery there despite the name.
Family style dining. If you want to be treated like one of the family, this is the place. Everything is cooked when you order. Doesn't get any fresher that. The fresh hot flat bread is to die for. Don't pass up the grilled fish
Authentic Iraqi Food. Family owned. Food is prepared very well so dont expect rushed service. Healthy food your stomach will thank you. Have the Arabian tea after sooo goood!
The best I have ever tried so far. The environment is nice, the service is perfect, and the food is the best. I have tried quzi and the mix grill (teka, kebab), and there is no way I could have them better. I definitely will go back and recommend it to everybody.
