Wont swear on the food (since we didnt eat) but some constructive criticism service is pretty dang slow considering one of the major draws is of course the hookah but the sheesha tastes and rips incredibly cheap which for the price is still pretty good i mean 30 for some sheesha is incredible but i wouldnt mind more expensive options that hit like a stack of raw charcoal. All jokes aside the music was pretty hard for a place offering hookah. Think about it like this hookah puts people in a relaxed headspace and to play loud and upbeat music feels semi opressive considering the environment is pretty good for hookah and matches the respective activity. That being said the music does not at all so if it were up to me id play more rnb and soul then straight up rap ( we heard dmx and shabba by asap pretty up beat.) But thats just my personal thing maybe others feel differently either way decent joint.

Freaking amazing food(especially the hummus) and agreeable prices. The owner goes around and talks to everyone which in my opinion is such a sweet and personal touch. Definitely will be coming back here soon

Been here a couple times before it turned into a club at night time. They did update the inside seating but unfortunately its very uncomfortable and it's medical office furniture. I honestly miss the old maroon comfy couches and the decor with a more eclectic feel. The waitresses were definitely sweethearts and they do not serve food unfortunately which is my reason for a 4 star. It's the main reason aside from the hookah that I came to the spot. They do however let you Uber eats. I went on a Friday around 8pm.

I loved a Amore bistro, the people were so friendly there. I ordered a cheese burger and it was delicious! If you enjoy Hip hop and a hookah this is the place to be. I had such a good time, I just might make it my weekend hang out! Outdoor seating available.

Great spot in Shavano Park area. The manager was very nice and personable. We came here for my brother's bday and the manager made him feel so welcomed. The DJ was great, my husband tipped him š. Food was good and waitress was polite and attentive. The drinks are pricey for San Antonio but it was a celebration so didn't dwell on that. This is a great chill spot and I'll definitely be back.

This place is just laid back and comfortable. Last night was my first time there and I will definitely be back again. We had a great dinner, drinks and smoke from the hookah. The owners are Lebanese and have a menu of Mediterranean food. They serve alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. There is a huge menu of flavors for the hookah. Staff is very friendly and helpful... Very attentive, and they had a belly dancer! It was just a night full of fun!

There was a huge line when arriving to this place randomly, but they managed it well and I wasnāt outside for more than 10-15 minutes. Came on a Friday evening and they had an awesome DJ that kept the crowd lit! The owner walked around & chopped it up w the patrons, while making sure to keep everyone in compliance with the regulations for Covid-19. Very conscientious business with everything you need for a good safe nice out: hookah, drinks, vibes etc. Oh and the servers are not only gorgeous but very professional and kind (a rarity) Will definitely be back!

Amore cafe is a fantastic spot for both hookah and Mediterranean food. The staff is exceptionally hard working and friendly. As a very regular customer I see the effort the owner and his team put out daily. Iām appalled at some of the āreviewsā others have posted having seen the issues first hand, watch the staff remedy the situation promptly and then see the gross misrepresentation of the event. This small business works very diligently to provide quality service and products. I highly recommend Amore cafe.

I went yesterday to this place and my friend and I were the only one at the restaurant...which this is very rare in a good restaurant. Nevertheless the attention was good and the service nice. The hookah was strong flavor had a reasonable price comparing with Houston. The food was hot and nice tasting. We will come back. Thank you very much!

I've only been here twice, but both experiences were very pleasant. The first time was later in the night and there was a good ambiance with music. The second time was early in the evening right when they open, a very quiet time, but relaxing nonetheless. The first time I went there, I had a hookah with Turkish coffee, and it was the absolute BEST Turkish coffee I've ever had. I complimented the owner (his name is Saeb, I hope I'm spelling that right). He sat down at our table and explained his methodical process of making his Turkish coffee. He's clearly a man that takes pride in his work. The second time I went, I had dinner and a hookah. They're very attentive to the hookahs and they last forever. The food was decent, and the prices are reasonable. I got another pot of Turkish coffee, which was just as good as the first, with a side of cookies. I plan on returning.

While on a birthday getaway, we found this awesome spot to have a few drinks, enjoy hookah & have a bite to eat. Best hookah I've EVER had! The owner & other staff were friendly, great customer service! I'll be visiting (from Houston) again in hopes to purchase a hookah & enjoy the menu. I look forward to enjoying Amore Cafe soon.

The food is great! And we have the best service from the owner. The owner always checks in with us and makes sure we are satisfied every time! Super customer service and professionalism! We have been going here for years. The wings and fries are seasoned so perfectly! Food is always fresh and hot! The atmosphere is so relaxing and nice hangout place. Throughout my college experience I would come and do my homework here for hours!! Thank you!!

Husband and me were out for date night, this place was perfect the owner was there he was so nice and the staff was amazing we couldnāt ask for a better date night out out. Go check it out he music is perfect we loved every minute of it and now will be going back for another date night with friends

I had been wanting to try this place for a while as I work nearby and I honestly regret having waited so long.
The owner greeted me with a smile and was very personable and friendly. He recommended the chicken shawarma and the Greek salad. Iāll tell you, this is the best shawarma Iāve had. Itās full of flavor but doesnāt feel greasy or too heavy. The pita is delicious and thin (pardon me if this isnāt what most people like or expect but I loved that it didnāt overpower the chicken). Iāve been to a few places in the medical center and even a place in Germany, but this by far has been my favorite. The salad is fresh and tasty as well.
I havenāt been here in the evening, but the venue is beautiful, peaceful, and Iād love to come back for dinner and tea sometime. Thank you very much!
