Food was good, sweet tea wasn't that sweet, had to add more sugar, but that was pretty much the only thing. Service was awesome, no complaints, even for a party of 10+. If you go when a mariachi band is playing, it can be really loud in the small area on the bar side. Just a warning for audio sensitive kiddos/people.

Hola Mi Gente y buenos Vecinos, came down to my lovely South Side today and remembered a place I came to often when I lived close by Taqueria Mexico 🇲🇽 on Somerset Rd is such a 💎 gem and wonderful place to eat for the whole family. Comida Mexicana I love it! Come down and see for yourself there is a full bar, Mexican Sodas yum..the food will leave you wanting more.. deliciosos! This is the place to be for great Mexican food! Visited with my coworkers for a celebratory lunch, and besides excellent and quick service, the food was plentiful and incredibly tasty. Thanks to the amount of food you get, everyone had trouble finishing their meal. Thank goodness for to-go boxes.

Ejole!! This place is Phenominal!! My family stopped in on Saturday morning at 10am and this place was packed!!! Plenty of seating and not a long wait. Everything authentic here. Menu was like 5-6 pages of food, glorious food!! Loved the food, it was so flavorful and delicious. Service was exceptional and attentive. Even for how busy it was our food came out at perfect temperature y con savor! Large Texas sized portions and prices were so cheap for the amount of food we got. Definitely coming again! Parking was ample as well.

The Torta with carne asada is 🤌🏽 I just prefer the bun a bit toasty, with a slight crisp to it.
The Texas plate lunch special was great as always. I will have to say that the rice could use more flavor but overall everything is very good.

First time here. The restaurant is really nice with lots of decor and the restroom is very clean. The service was fast and our waitress friendly and attentive. It's hard to find some good menudo but it was delicious! Definitely recommend and will absolutely be returning. The small table set up as you walk out was a nice addition. They sell jewelry and croc charms. Also sell a variety of sweet breads
