My sister and I had lunch at this location as we were celebrating my mother’s birthday and she loved Luby’s. My sister had a veggie plate and I had turkey and dressing with broccoli and green beans. We both had jalapeño cornbread too. I was impressed with this location as it was bright and cheerful
The food is always great. You have a variety of salads, meats, sides, and desserts. Atmospher is cozy and comfortable. Service was awesome. Thank You Mary!! 😊
My wife loves luby's and I'm more like so-so about it. It kind of reminds me of a hospital cafeteria except the food is better at luby's. Instead of the usual fried Chicken or Luanne platter I switched it up and got the hamburger steak and cheese. My wife had the chicken-fried steak. Nothing special
Mary is the bomb here. She made lunch amazing lol This lubys is also very good and fast service. Food was amazing. Only thing was broccoli was old and brown. Other than that 10/10.
I've been going to Luby's for 60+ years. It is your best lunch or dinner in town. It is close to a home cooked meal as your get.

Lubys still has great food, the fish of course was great! The liver with onions excellent, and the okra tasted fresh, just the cornbread was dry
Glad to see that a Lubys is still open. Food was great and it went pretty fast. Granted, that was a long line for thanksgiving.
The food was, as always, delicious! We got the cheese enchiladas, liver & onions and the chicken fried chicken. They offer such a great selection to chose from that it's always so hard to make a choice. And the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming here again!
Today we ate are the lubys on main street in San Antonio,. The service was excellent are waitress was exceptional. The food was very good, we both had the fried fish. We even bought extras to take home it was that GOOD!!!
Food was delicious as always. I got the LuAnn plate however by the time I got to the cashier I didn't pay the Luann price because I picked up so many little extras along the way..This place gets me to over indulge every time I come here. But it's all good cause we still have Christmas to get through
On the day we visited Luby's the line was a little long but moving along at a good pace. We arrived around 1 pm so this was expected. Both hubby and I ordered the Luann Plates 🍽. We both ordered the Bacon 🥓 Cheese Chopped Steak. For my sides I had the scallop potatoes 🥔 that had wonderful flavor.
The downtown location has always been a favorite. The parking lot is always full during peak times and the line always looks long but moves quickly. Oh Luby's... I'm so disappointed. We've ordered our Thanksgiving dinner from Luby's for years and never a problem. This year however, it didn't go as expected. We were told to pick up our order on Monday, so there it sat in the back fridge waiting for Thursday.

Took my cousin to a late lunch little after 1:30, his friend fish was dry, my baked fish taste old and dry as well! We both remember I growing up and this was our highlight! Sad!!!!
The food was so delicious and the service was wonderful. Everyone was in the holiday spirit. My grandsons loved it as well!
