My family has been eating here for 13 years and are spoiled to the max by virtue of the quality food always fresh hot and exactly what ordered. Beside the great food, we return every week because of the service we get, the feeling of family. Juan and Fong (brothers) are the best. They know everything we eat and virtually beat us to the table with our drinks, Appetizers we always order and call us by name. They even remember friend we bring in with us thst have not been there in a year. i cant remember yesterday. :) It is truly because of them that we come here. We eat Vietnamese everywhere we go but are spoiled by the way we like the how the food is prepared here and the first class attentive friendly service we get. Couldn't ask for more.
Love the Pho.... I've been eating here for years! The Pho is very good... I usually choose the "no meat" bowl, it is very flavorful and the veggies are usually very fresh! I did love the spring rolls, but no longer... they are always hard and taste like they have been sitting around for a while. Try a pan fried dumpling instead, they are very good.
As for the service... it is fast and efficient, maybe not super (Texas style) friendly, but, I can deal with it :)
Loved it. Has the 36. Nicely done, mostly. Some of the pork was overcooked and chewy. Good spring roll.
Bun with pork and fried spring roll was delicious. The best P32 I ever had!
My all time favorite pho place! I usually get either the P2 or the P32 with an order of spring rolls! Mmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Great service when you sit on the right section, the left and bigger section I find usually has incompetent waiters.
Pho Good. Great traditional Pho in San Antonio. I've never been let down by this place. Consistent and delicious.
Nathan and Jennifer deliver timely service and the food is delicious. Nice quiet place to visit. Stop by and visit and you won't be disappointed.
This place is awesome when it comes to Pho. Everything is cooked fresh, the P32 is one of my favorites (fried pork), and don't forget to order the crab rangoon. Service is friendly and they have regular customers that I run into often. That must say they are doing something right.
My sister and I love to come here and get the P32. It's the best Vietnamese food I've had in SA and I highly recommend their spring rolls. Great service and great food!
P26!. My friend introduced me to this place and ever since I've been craving it so I now go every week. I love the spring rolls and the chicken Pho. Wait staff was very nice and I like how authentic it is.
Pho is where it is!. For us first time "pho'ers" we looked to see where the best was before we tried it. We have enjoyed this place each time we have been since, and last night we found out they had a 3 page menu!!! We always stop at the first page and get the Pho! The service is nice too... she taught me to use my chopsticks on one of our outings. Be sure to try all the different kinds of PHO to find your personal favorite. We haven't ordered the same one twice yet :)
Consistently satisfactory. We stop in at Pho Cong Ly about once a week for a casual and heartwarming bowl of pho, an order of crispy spring rolls and a freshly brewed glass of bold and sweet Vietnamese iced coffee. This place has become a big part of my culinary life, and my tummy is happier for it.
I would be biased to comment on the familiar hospitality given to us by the waitstaff as they have become friends by now...so I'll remark on the ever-fresh and invigorating bunch of basil, jalapeno, coriander and lemon that accompany each generous, steaming bowl of pho. Eating in this restaurant always leaves me feeling wholesome and happy.
P32. It's all about the bun. The one with pork, and a spring roll. Yummy!
Authentic. Good soup broth and has good vegetarian options! Clean restaurant and friendly staff!
Love this place! Reasonable prices and amazing spring and summer rolls. You can't go wrong with the Pho or Bun.
FANTASTIC!. Located in a non-descript strip mall, this gem is heaven if you're a noodle soup lover like myself. The service is fast and friendly, the prices cheap and the experience exactly what it should have been.
Highly recommended.
Good food done right. The quality of food is what makes this place so affordable. It is hard to come across an SA eatery where you truly get more bang for your buck. I'm not talking about portion size either (though it is perfect). From tendon to tripe, it is sure to please any adventurous diner.
Phó heaven. Try the spring rolls
Best Spring Rolls in TOWN!. I have been eating at this place all my life, and I am always happy and very full when I leave. They do have weird hours, (closed from 3 to 5 I believe), but it is totally worth the wait! I love the P-35 which is vermicelli and spring rolls! Also all of the "Taste of Asia" dishes are amazing, although the scallops tend to be a bit tough. I LOVE THIS PLACE

I grew up in Houston where there's a Vietnamese place virtually on every corner so I consider myself well-versed on the Vietamese Summer Roll. These were excellent. A little loosely rolled but still good. I loved that I could get all the peanut sauce I needed because I've never been able to get the ratio of roll to sauce just right. Well done!
Good Food. I like the P-33. Stir Fried Chicken with onion on rice noodles. It is very light and tasty. Very quick service.
My litmus test of a quality Chinese restaurant: lemon chicken is a large section of breast meat, not chicken nuggets.
This restaurant certainly passes my test. And the chicken was moist and tender. The breading was just right.
My husband ordered the prawn plate. I tasted one and it was very tender.
The hot and sour soup tasted sweeter than the typical kind at Chinese restaurants.
Fried noodles, chopped green onions, and mustard served upon request.
Another request that few restaurants get right: warm water isn't hot water and it's not room temperature tap water. This one got it right the first time.
And the price was reasonable, around $10 per lunch plate.
We'll certainly go again!
Great place to have a hot bowl of Pho. I ordered a bowl of beef Pho, and it was generously loaded with meat and noodles. The vegetable add-ins were fresh, and the whole meal was delicious. The service was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean, and the meal prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food received.

Nice, casual, not over the top but very good food. There's a reason they've been open for a long time.
My family and I love this restaurant. Although the interior could probably use a renovation, the food is amazing and the service is prompt. The pho is delicious as well as their Chinese dishes such as the orange chicken. The price is fair and the portions are generous. With our toddler, a restaurant's atmosphere is very important to us and this place is perfect because it's very laid back. I wish I lived in the area so I could carry out from this place!
they never miss😭 this is and will always be my favorite asian restaurant ever
it IS a little hot in here but everything is great
Awesome pho noodle soup and nice service. We ordered P12, P14, and Vietnamese spring rolls. Definitely will go back!
The place overall is fantastic. A classic “hole in the wall” situation. If you look on the outside it doesn’t look like much. But the P32 is fantastic! I love the rolls and the house sauce. The price has gone up a bit, but 11.50 for a big bowl of vermicelli, a generous helping of pork and those fantastic rolls is well worth the price. If only they served sweet tea!
Been going to Taste of Asia for many years and has been a consistent place to get some favorites like P38 stew or P32 Vermicelli bowl. Vietnamese spring rolls are also great! I’m not crazy about their Chinese food but I honestly rarely order Chinese from there. Quick service and priced great for a non fast food meal.

We arrived and got a table quickly when we got to the restaurant. When we got the the table we ordered and got our food within minutes. My water had got refilled in less than 30 seconds. The meal that I got was kung Pao chicken.
The only thing I didn't like was that I was not offered any suggested meals. But after communicating with the waiter for a minute about my wants and needs, he offered me The Kung Pao chicken or the Chinese side. I enjoyed my meal as well as the soup that my partner received.
I enjoyed the food and we left full. My other suggestion would be that they put pictures of the meals on the menu so that we can make a better decision for our meal. Great food. Great place.
Wide selection of many dishes. Service was excellent. Went I when it was busy but food came out quickly and hot. Very much enjoyed the quality, flavors, and prices. The lunch specials are the way to go. This was my first visit and will certainly be back again. 👍
