Julian's Italian Pizzeria & Kitchen

Stumbled upon this place while driving by and decided to give it a try. The vibe and atmosphere was very welcoming and chill. We ordered pizza and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The pizza was good but it’s very thin, but still pretty delicious. The pasta I’ll have to give it a 0. It was very bland and had no flavor whatsoever. I ended up having to add a bunch of salt to it. The chicken was also extremely dry, making it difficult to even eat. Despite the pasta, everything else was great. The pizza is great to include the staff. I’d probably go back but just for the pizza and vibes. This would also be a nice place for a first date in my opinion.

There are three Julian's Pizzeria & Kitchens in San Antonio; this one is on N. New Braunfels in the Alamo Heights area. I dined with two couples and friends who have eaten at this Julian's previously. We stopped there after church because the food and service are exceptional. We ordered from the menu at a counter near the front entrance. I selected from lunch specials the Pepperoni and Pasta Salad for $13.95. If you need a salad for weight loss, better order somewhere else. 😉 My plate came with a ton of good pepperoni and spaghetti pasta along with diced tomatoes and Italian salad dressing. The lunch menu had about ten selections that will be tempting next time. When I sat down with good friends, I simply forgot I could review this well-liked restaurant. The only photo I submitted was a picture of Eggplant Pasta Salad a friend gave to me to take home. You know what? The Eggplant and Pasta were still tasty from the microwave after 24 hours.

Explored Julian's and dove into their Chicken Parmigiana. It hit the mark, although the sauce leaned slightly acidic and a cheesier touch would've elevated it. Overall, an average experience. The ambiance carried an old-school vibe, while service was commendable. Can't skip their delectable pasta. The Chocolate Cake is a must-try treat as well!

OMG! When I tell you won’t be disappointed with service or food here, trust me you won’t! Second time here in less than a month because the first visit was incredible. Customer service was the best and the food was delicious. So we came back again to try something different. And again we were not disappointed. It’s a great atmosphere with fast, great customer service. Food never seems to disappoint. We’ll be back again and even ask family to join us because we want them to experience the great food and service!!!! This will be our go to restaurant when we’re craving Italian food.

My Husband heard about this place on the radio so we decided to give it a try. It's a small cute spot that has a small outdoor eating area. We had the 16' All Meat pizza and it was delicious, we even had 3 slices leftover to take home. My Son had a small Caesar salad with grilled chicken and he LOVED it. My Daughter had the Fettuccine Alfredo and was not a fan of it. We all agreed it lacked flavor. I also enjoyed a glass of their Moscato wine. I should've gotten the name of it, it was so good.

I saw that this place had good review so I decided to try it out. Everything was eye appealing , but I personally didn't like it. I ordered the build your own pizza with smoked ham and pepperoni. Unfortunately it was too salty for my taste. The lasagna was really cheesy and very eye appealing , but for me the sauce was a bit tangy. The salad was really good. That was the one thing I actually liked. Again it was just my personal preference. My husband said it all tasted amazing.

This is by FAR the best pizza in town. Everything we ordered was very good and tasty, the service was friendly and relatively quick. We will most definitely visit again. We really loved the pizza style and the toppings selection. Also the pasta was delicious, fresh and homemade. Great beers on tap and wine list.
