Anchor Bar

Great active group of Iowa Hawkeye I-Club members...the bar sets up a dedicated area... Not sure who to contact to reserve a seat so they know you're coming if you want to see an Iowa game... If you don't care about seeing the Iowa game they have plenty of other areas lots of people are going in and out...it's very busy and that should tell you a lot...

The first time we ordered from here, it was amazing. The next two times were total letdowns. Second time, nothing tasted good and they forgot an item from the order. Today, they finally had all the items but the chicken Philly had none of the queso promised and had (some) raw onions instead of caramelized and mushrooms which were requested to be removed. It was so dry we had to add numerous things and it still just tasted like the hoagie, no flavor. I did finally get the Mac & cheese I've ordered twice now and that is good. The wings are delicious as always. Rating a 4/5 because the wings were so good but the Philly is inedible.

There are only three categories listed here: food, service, and atmosphere. The food definitely gets a five star, but if there were a category for drinks it gets a three star rating. Our drinks, a margarita and an old fashioned, were not that good at all. The wings and the service were amazing! I will definitely be going back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Nice bar area... plenty of TV'S to see the game from every angle. Plus there's a TV in the mirror in the restroom. The Wings area great! If you can't get to Buffalo to the original; original wings place then this is a great alternative. This place is really awesome... our server Isaac was a pleasure to chat with & had a great attitude.

I really enjoyed this place. They have a great drinks selection. The wings are very very good. That honey garlic flavor is perfection and the kick n cranberry was very tasty. I’ve never had a burger like their Mac and cheese burger which was delicious but be prepared to have difficulty biting into it because it is huge. We had a good waiter too that seemed really busy but made it work. I look forward to coming here again someday especially to watch any sports game.

Came due to a friend's recommendation, it being their favorite wing place and all. Not bad! Came in on a Sunday afternoon, so definitely a good time for a more intimate setting. Tristan was great and made sure we were well accommodated during and before leaving. The Honey Sriracha was my favorite flavor sauce, so far, along with the Sweet and Spicy Korean. (Like my women, I have a thing for sweet and spicy... IYKYK. 😏) The bites were crunchy and tender and seemed to be made from nice quality white meat! They also have dessert!! It's just not on their main menu. 🤷🏾‍♂️
