Best Vietnamese food in San Antonio hands dwn.I try to go at least 3 times a week and I've eaten almost everything on the menu.The flavors this restaurant creates are a work of art and they continue to get it right everytime.Im an African American male who enjoys this cuisine.The prices are affordable and u will not be disappointed by anything on the menu.BEST EVER!!!!

Have to say that the food out at Heavenly Pho was super delicious. My last 2 visits I had the Pork Vermicelli Bowl, Pork Banh Mi Sandwich, and Vietnamese Egg rolls. The pork is some of the best I've tasted. Very tastefully marinated and perfectly cooked. So glad it didn't have that charbroil taste which I'm not a fan of. The egg rolls were very tasty and highly recommended for an appetizer. Can't wait to try the Pho on my next visit. From what I've tasted so far, I'm highly recommended this restaurant.

We ordered 3 items and a thai tea. We ordered mongolian beef with fried rice. This item was good. Had nice flavors. We also ordered beef with spicy lemon grass. Did not like this item to be honest. It dis not have any lemon grass flavor in it. We also ordered pad thai. I have had better pad thai than this. It was less than average I would say. The thai tea was just bad. It felt like sugar water. They had siracha sauce though! 😃 The interior is nice. The waiter was nice too. Someone came two times to ask about the food. Service was good overall but, probably not going back.

Got the Mongolian Chicken Lunch Special with Egg Drop Soup. I also got a side of vermicelli noodles to have later for my dinner. The portion sizes exceed expectations.The egg drop soup was amazing and salted to perfection. I asked for the Mongolian Chicken to be made spicy. I do not know what it is like by default, but it had a decent kick to it. My only criticism is that the rice was very dry. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience and think the prices are very fair.

Great tasting food. I had only tried the pork chop rice plate and it’s been great the two times I went. However, I ordered a grilled pork with rice and the portion was undeniably small and could pass off as a toddlers plate. Well, at least the rice is a huge portion… Very disappointing since the plate was about $13. I am not expecting it to be loaded up with meat but the portion I got it’s beyond ridiculous.

The Tofu stir fried with vegetables, served with white rice was excellent. The veggies were the best I've had in a long time. The veggies were nice and crunchy as opposed to mushy. It was a wonderful experience with a perfect ambience to enjoy a meal with family and or friends. I will return to enjoy another wonderful meal 😋

Been coming here for many years and still one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in San Antonio. This time came on a Sunday evening and it wasn't too crowded, so was immediately seated. Waitress immediately came over to take the drink and appetizers orders. For the appetizers, ordered the Crispy Calamari, Fresh Spring Rolls, and Crispy Egg Rolls. They came out within 10 minutes and was very fresh & flavorful. For the meals, we ordered Pho, Vermicelli Bowl, Rice Plate, and Fried Rice. I've had these before and still can't say which is my favorite. They use some of the same ingredients, so it's really what you're in the mood for. The meat is always so tender and juicy in all the dishes. Food came out within 15 minutes, but they wait staff seemed short-handed. Service was great, but she was the only waitress working the 5 occupied tables. As always, food was consistently good, plated well, and generous portions. Ingredients are always fresh and go well together. This remains one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants after all these years.
