This place has the best Mexican food available anytime. You can pay for fancy ambiance at other places but the food here is always absolutely delicious and served quickly. The frozen margaritas are a bonus too. Free chips and a salsa bar are incredibly irresistible. Ultimately the staff is responsible for all this deliciousness. Emilio at the Culebra Road location always makes sure when he hands me my order it’s served hot and picture perfect.

Always good to eat here. There are many options on the menu. The fajitas are good. We visited on a Sunday at lunch and although it was a bit crowded inside, we didn't have to wait that long to get our food. They have free chips self serve on a big container warmed, and a self serve dip bar. I only wish that the drinks would have a free refill. Prices for food are decent and the flavor is good.

Update, August 22nd. We've been here several times since our first visit and we are slowly getting more disappointed. Today we ordered to-go and one dish was the enchilada plate. They neglected to give us the enchilada. We also ordered two beef nachos. One had a good amount of beef, the other one hardly had any beef. They have been messing up nearly every to-go order. We came here for the first time on July 3rd and had dinner. The food was really really good. We were all very pleased. We will definitely be regular customers.

Fairly good food, not outstanding. Their tortillas are made in-house and are good. The beans, rice, and fajitas are not bad, just par for the course for San Antonio Mexican restaurants. Their service today was a little off. They didn't have someone handing out cutlery, cups of salsa, napkins, etc. and they had a lot of folks waiting for those clearly in view of the staff. They had a lot of cooks but nobody on the salsas until I asked if they were going to hand them out (due to COVID-19 they wall off these items behind plexiglass and someone is supposed to hand them to you so people don't serve themselves to prevent spread of the virus). I ordered the large menudo today and it was fairly good. It was meaty and the portion is a good size. For $10.24 ($11.08 after tax) it's a fair value. It had a huge bone that could have been taken out. I know it adds flavor but it could have been taken out after cooking. For atmosphere they have multiple TVs playing sports. There's usually no background music, just some background noise. There's plenty of parking because it sits in a shopping strip. I've been going there regularly and the quality of the food is consistent. The orders are churned out quickly and you don't gave to wait long to start eating. It's great for a quick bite if you're shirt in time. There's no table service, you order at the counter and wait for the number on your receipt to be called. I recommend this place for a consistently quick and good bite. It's an overall decent Mexican restaurant where anyone can get a good bite.
