What an experience! We had never had Moroccan food before so we started off with the hummus. The preparation of it is so unique and delicious in comparison to hummus from other countries. The chicken tagine with olives and french fries was scrumptious. The chicken was the moistest we have ever had. There are also vegetarian food options. Rounding our dinner out with the baklavas was a perfect compliment to the dinner. We can’t wait to go back and try more food and learn more from these wonderful ladies.

This place right here offered such a great experience. There are sisters who own this place and they still run it like they just opened. They greet you and if you have questions about the menu she will go through the history of the dish and flavors. We have never had moraccon food but they set a pretty high standard. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and along with a great waitstaff I will definitely come back. We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we ordered chicken pastilla, chicken kabob, madghout and chicken tagine. Chicken pastilla takes 45 minutes to make so we ordered other food to try it after. There's an appreciation for them to make an item by hand. The Madghout is a lamb shank that's made with 7 seasonings and marinated for hours. It was tender, full of flavor and filling. I enjoyed the rice and the mint tea. If you want a drink I highly recommend the mint tea. It's hot but the mint makes it refreshing and honestly very enjoyable. Try this place out. The chicken was flavorful and so delicious. Also have a conversation with the sisters they can give you so much history of moraccon food like the chicken pastilla that's typically made for really special events and is not eaten every day. It's typically made for high standing people so it was an honor to try it and experience such a major food. Overall loved the food and the staff.

Absolutely love the atmosphere here and the food is amazing! We had the Lamb Kebabs, Shrimp Peel, an eggplant appetizer, plenty of rice, and bread. The flavors were so rich and everything perfectly cooked. I ordered cheesecake for dessert and it had a very waxy texture that I didn't enjoy but that was my only part of this dining experience that wasn't completely amazing. Service is fast & friendly, restrooms are clean, the music is wonderful! They also have wonderful things available for purchase such as spices & paintings. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area! I also want to add that their food is halal, which is something that can be e difficult to find. Not a huge selection of vegetarian dishes but certainly several yummy options (I definitely recommend the eggplant!) and I would consider the menu to be mostly gluten-friendly.

This was my first time officially trying Moroccan food, and I really enjoyed it. We started with the lovely mint tea, which was aromatic, soothing, and tasty. Next, I ordered the meat combo plate, and my friend had the lamb tagine. Both entrees arrived within a reasonable time and were hit and fresh. We also had the yogurt sauce and bread. Both were very good. I really liked the yogurt sauce. Put that stuff in a jar and sell it. It is similar to Tzatiki sauce but not exactly. Lastly, we had the baklava made in-house. It was so flaky and nutty. They also have vegan pastries, which is impressive. The staff was very friendly and came over to chat while we were eating. It was like eating at a friend's house.

Oh my oh my where do I start ?? I’m a truck driver I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place and finally had the chance to pass through San Antonio . First thing I thought about was I have to try this place. The food was amazing exactly or even better than some places I’ve tried back home So flavourful so delicious … I had the couscous with lamb and a Moroccan salad . The restaurant is so clean and welcoming.

A warm and inviting atmosphere envelope you as soon as you go through the door. Our server is friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food has great flavor profiles. While the food is wonderfully seasoned, spicy heat is avoided here. We ordered some mint tea, it hit the spot and made us forget how dreary it was outside. Dessert was an added bonus - The caramel cheesecake baklava is a MUST-TRY!

Moroccan cuisine being my most favorite, so my expectation with the food and ambience was really high. I would say the food is phenomenal, tajine was the recommendation so went with it. The meat was so tender and the flavor was great. The ambience really cool, gives the touch of Moroccan restaurants and the souvenirs around the restaurant are pretty cool to watch, cant remember if you could buy them as well. I loved the over all experience. Excellent and quick service. It hardly took them few minutes to get my order on the table. Definitely recommending this place.
