Since a friend of mine grew up around San Antonio, I asked him for a good burger place.
He told me Armadillos ist the place to go.
So we went, and let me tell you, this place was awesome.
The prices are fair, and the burgers are really really good.

I visited during lunch and the food was great. Everything was fresh and hot. I ordered the 1 1/2 pound Texas Giant burger and it was a lot bigger than I expected. The burger tasted great. I would definitely visit again.
Been here for many years now and it's never disappointed. Last visit was no different. Quick service even with every table full. Food was hot and fresh and a good price. Parking can be a hassle but worth it. I'll be back.
Armadillos is all burger bar. Inside are tvs playing sports, stickers and metal signs across the walls, waitresses in short shorts, and solid burgers. While good, they're not great. They're filling and juicy in a way of being the best possible version of dad's cookout burger. That's not bad at all.
They have the best fried pickles here. The fact that the burgers are great is just a plus. Big well cooked burgers and fresh cut fries are what makes this place special. I got a large fries which turned out to be a basket. I’m not complaining because they were very good house made fries. The burgers were well priced and very big with a nice bun. I hope to come back and try their appetizer

My 1st time experience here was Jaw Dropping 😲 I have never seen a Burger this huge in person Ever! The burger by its self was a conversation piece! Very Kid friendly environment, would definitely Recommend this place for Everyone! 10/10 for me 🥰 #foodieGirl
Ordered the buffalo chicken burger. The food was good it probably would've been better to eat it there instead of 30 minutes later at home, big drinks, and delicious tater tots. It's a little pricey but worth it.
Great food & service. Their giant burgers are also tasty! Bring your A-game appetite for those. Also the fried pickles are great. So far we’ve have nothing but good experiences with Armadillos. I wish they had more space or another location.
Food was amazing! Fried pickles were crunchy and fried to perfection. Burgers came out perfect and quickly. Got tots and onion rings and both were crunch heaven. Service was quick and on point. Will be returning. Prices were great!
The food was good and filling. There wasn't anything that really made it stand apart from a burger you'd get anywhere else. The pricing was average and worth the amount you received. Customer service was superb. I feel like the place could use some fixing up but other than that it was a good experie

Serves was fast and friendly. Fried pickles were tasty and fresh out the fryer with a slight spicy kick to them. Burger was tasty and not at all dry. Fries were good, but I was so stuffed from the fried pickles and one pound burger that I couldn't fully enjoy them. Prices were good for what you get.
