The food was unique and excellent in both quality and taste! Our server, Brian, was attentive and friendly. For a nice change, the food was even better than the beautiful pictures in the menu! Definitely recommend it for breakfast!
Loved it!! Me and my mother both came and had the best brunch of life. The staff was friendly and attentive and of course the food was very tasty. We enjoyed the whole ambiance of the restaurant/bar. We will be coming back and inviting more to come
We enjoyed a great after-church brunch at Eggspectation. Expect a 30-45 minute wait, but the experience is worth it. The menu is extensive and the food is delicious. Service is good, especially considering how busy they are. They have a large gluten free offering ... everything except their crepes can be prepared gluten free. I had a BBQ burger with sweet potato fries ... very tasty. My wife went for an omelette which she raved about. They also have a full bar and the Bloody Mary’s are very good.
This place is good size and we didn't have to wait on a Sunday. I expected AMAZING egg dishes and thought the menu selection for eggs was very basic. However, I did love all the extra menu items. The banana split waffle was delicious and so were the desserts!
My bro was graduating the Air Force boot camp and I was in charge of the finding a place to eat. So glad I came across this place. The food was flavorful, the waitress was friendly, patient, and helpful made our overall experience a memorable one. If you enjoy drinking, I would recommend the Grand Mimosa it didn’t disappoint. The food was flavorful and fresh. If the weather permits it, I would sit on the patio, the outdoor decor is eye catching.
Not busy in the early morning hours if you don’t want to wait.
Overall I would say the food is great but not the best I’ve ever had.
Western omelette was great and well prepared in my opinion. French toast was good. I prefer them a little thicker.
Pancakes were probably the biggest letdown. Just pretty average.
Butter for the pancakes and french toast was nice and whipped.
The potatoes were another standout. They have a nice crisp outside with a very fluffy inside.
The restaurant has a really nice rustic vibe . The menu is huge and ranges from breakfast to dinner and beyond. The meal I got was the high-rise pancakes, which were good aside from the pancakes they were too dry for me,and all the maple syrup in the world couldn't help me. I went through half a bottle, and the pancakes were barely absorbing it. The flavor on the pancakes was great, but the batter was overworked. That meal is a great deal becaise you get a bit of everything without having to buy 2 separate meals . I like bacon, which is delicious and crispy, and the potatoes are crunchy and pillowy soft on the inside. The sausage was fresh and the texture was great. I would come back for eggs as well. The Veggie omelet was great, and I like the fact that the cheese can be customized to your preference. Everything was hot, and the service was amazing (shoutout to Jennifer). The bloody Mary was my drink of choice, and it was good but a bit too spicy for my liking, but overall, the experience was great.
Great service! We got a dog bowl for our puppy and we didn't have to wait long with the online wait line option. I got the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes and we sat outside where there was great shade and ot actually wasn't too loud. The menu was extensive. I think the only thing they don't serve is biscuits.
This place has a great vibe and a wonderful menu. Love the out of the ordinary choices. It's a little pricey but worth it for the quality. It was busy, but we were still seated right away and served quickly. Portion sizes are normal, so don't arrive looking for the "big breakfast." However, it was plenty to satisfy and not worry about leftovers.
Everything is super expensive, there is definitely a reason why this place is up on the North side. But there is tons of space and didn't have to wait for a party less than 4. There were several large groups tho and there were a lot of people waiting and being a cafe / bar, a lot of people brought their kids...
Yessica was an amazing server! Super kind and accommodating for our party of 10. Great recommendations, amazing drinks and brunch options. I really loved their house Bloody Mary. I also enjoyed the shrimp and grits entree, super delicious!
The atmosphere was 5 out of 10; it was clean and beautifully decorated; however, the music was deafening. For breakfast, my wife and I dined there and considered leaving. We had to almost yell at each other to talk. Also, the choice of music is very aggressive, in my opinion, breakfast music should be soft and relaxing the music seems to be chosen by college kids, unfortunately. The food was delicious, with many options and layers of flavors. However it was not hot. It was only three tables seated, and our food was very warm. Had it been hot, the food would have been Michelin-worthy. Overall the service was great and besides the music we enjoyed our visit.
This place is a vibe. A good one. Chill, relaxed, and so much to choose from. The Mimosa flight is perfect to share. I recommend the pink bubbly and peach mimosas. Egg Benedict is on point. The coffee is a good. Service was fast and friendly.
