Papoulis Greek Grill

Sean, Jacob LaSoya, and the whole crew on the night of 9/28/2019, were absolutely amazing! Nick (owner), hats off to you for having an amazing team working that night. My twins and their friend graduated basic training and we decided to stop in for dinner not realizing we walked in 3 minutes before closing. Instead of being greeted with dirty looks and sighs, we were greeted happily and enthusiatically. We deeply apologized for not realizing they were closing and they explained it was no problem as it was an exciting day for us and to make ourselves at home and enjoy. The service, the food, and the atmosphere were phenomenal! Thank you all for making our day complete. It could not have ended any better. You guys went well more than just above and beyond. THANK YOU!!!

Papouli's is such a gem, tucked in the north side of the Quarry. My favorite grilled shrimp in the city. Food and ingredients are made to order, but come out quick. They nail all the little details, e.g. the pita bread is always served warm and soft. No doubt some of the best, if not THE best, Greek food in San Antonio. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location! Have been going regularly for over a year, and have never had a bad experience.

I frequent Papoulis at a minimum of once every two weeks. Yes, they're that delicious. I can say without a doubt that the Quarry location makes the most consistently delicious recipe. On top of that, their pitas and fries are almost always fresh. I would say that nine out of ten visits are perfect in every way(Freshness, taste consistency, and customer service) This restaurant truly cares about it's customers and it's business and I know this first hand.

I met some friends at Papouli's for dinner before going to a movie. You order your food at the counter, give them your name and pay. They call your name when your food is ready and you pick it up. There is no waitress or waiter to tip (which I like). I ordered the gyro with a side of a small pasta salad. I have to say that my gyro was excellent and the pasta salad was perfect!!! This is a place where I will definitely go back to.

AMAZING AUTHENTIC GREEK EXPERIENCE! This restaurant is the best Greek place in town. The plates are generous, food is fresh, service is to notch, and the views and atmosphere is majestic. If you need a quick bite, they have gyros and chicken tacos that can't be beat. If you are looking for an amazing dinner for two, this place takes you away to Greece for a few minutes. Now, if you have a family, they offer the best for your family to enjoy the best of what Greek culture has to offer!!
