Run, don't walk, to this (not so hidden) gem! It is everything you want, don't want, wish you wanted, and more. If you are counting calories, you are in the wrong restaurant... and state. Everytime I'm in San Antonio, this is my first stop. Today, I gave into the enchilada plate and wanted to keep o
Great all around... The staff so beautiful- nice. The food was delicious n presentation. Did want it little hotter. 100% Great though
The food was good and hot. Delicious enchiladas. It didn’t take long to come out once I ordered. The waitress checked on me often, very nice and friendly service. I will definitely be going back.
Very modest exterior but the food is terrific and the service is fast. Some of the best enchiladas I've ever had. Try the green chicken or the beef or the cheese or, well, anything.
NOT GOING TO LIE - this is the BEST enchilada place in San Antonio. Period. The local people were great there, we had to wait in line for about 10min to get in and it was totally worth it. friendly family atmosphere, fast and great service, and the food... if you are from out of town or just a loc
Old school SA Tex Mex! Usually busy but well worth the wait. Everything on the menu is good.
My favorite restaurant on earth. Real, good Mexican food. EDIT: came back for breakfast. It doesn’t get any better.
Enchilada plate was great!! Rice was on point. Beans tasted like homemade beans which was great not greasy or burned dry. Tortillas were nice and powdery like I like. Our waiter was very sweet and informative. Will definitely come again
Delicious enchiladas. Nice atmosphere. Great food with plenty of variety in a Mexican Restaurant.
The food is delicious! The service is good also. It is pretty small inside. They have a sign that asks you to limit your meal to an hour so others can sit due to their limited seating. Which I understand, but it is a little off-putting. Especially when you've done your due diligence and waited your
My first spot to eat at here in San Antonio. Recently moved from Austin. I was not disappointed. Best enchiladas I've ever had!!! Atmosphere was chill and good vibes. I'll be going back here again and again. Thanks!
I cannot get enough of this place! They claim to have the best enchiladas in San Antonio and I am on the same page. I got back all the time for the cheese enchiladas and breakfast tacos and sweet tea. Love the community aspect of the place too.
No frills but great tacos with plenty of ingredients stuffed inside their breakfast tacos. You will definitely leave satisfied. They only have barbacoa tacos on the weekends so it was the one taco I didn't try that i wanted to. I had the chorizo and egg taco, sausage egg and cheese taco and both
The food was really good as far as flavor. Great service, thank you.
So yum! Authentic enchiladas with that true San Antonio flavor. Great service, down home spot. Great homemade tortillas served with butter, as they should be. No complaints. Will be back for more!!!!
This place is a staple of the community on the near northside just off of Blanco. I remember stopping by here in the morning on my way to school at Edison high school for some Carne Guisada tacos and they were Delicious then and they still are now. I give this place 5stars all around in cleanliness,
