I like hamburgers and I like to try new places. However, when I want a delicious, fresh hamburger that I know will never ever disappoint, Chesters is my go to place. The burgers are cooked to order and the poppyseed buns are fresh and soft.

Chester's is Chester's. Have been lunching here for years Returned after a few months absence. The meat has changed . Flavor different. Everything else same. Will we go back? Probably once to be sure. Hope we are wrong.

Great food, but my partner requested no pickles and onions. We watched the cashier write it on the ticket. Yes, he got lots of onions and pickles on his burger. I take mine all the way so somebody didn't care to read the ticket. Small things sometimes.

I asked one of the locals where to get a good burger and the first thing that came out of his mouth was Chester’s. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. This place is not flashy, which I loved. What it does have is a very welcoming atmosphere. I had the hatch chili cheeseburger and onion rings. Everything from the patty to the poppyseed bun was excellent. I added hatch chili and this took the burger over the top. Definitely, a place to grab a homemade burger! Shout out to the nice blonde lady (owner?) who came around to check on our experience. That was a nice touch! I would have posted a picture but I completely annihilated my burger.

It's a great easy casual date place. Altho a warning, the burgers are huge, share the fries! The burgers are big and can be messy but it is so SO worth it. This is my go to place when I crave a good burger. There's not a ton of seating but I've only had once when I couldn't find a seat.

Chili cheeseburger, onion rings, and unsweet tea. The burger and onion rings came out smoking hot, and everything was fantastic. Every chili burger is messy by nature, but that's not a bad thing. The flavor of the chili and the nicely seasoned burger with the melty cheese made this an outstanding burger. The onion rings are easily in the top three in San Antonio. Cool, nostalgic place. I think I changed my burger choice three times while ordering, but the woman taking my order was very patient.
