The Original Donut Shop - San Antonio - Photo album

First time stopping in today and I was very pleased with the true old school atmosphere! When you’re in line to order tacos you can see the ladies making fresh tortillas! Great service and very efficient! The donuts are wonderful too! I’m so glad I stopped in while I was in the area! Heads up on
This is my new favorite breakfast taco place in San Antonio! We live close by and always see long lines here. Now I know why. The food is great and the service was good, too! The donuts remind me of a beloved donut shop back home. We'll definitely be back!
Breakfast tacos are flavorful and big. Bean, egg and cheese is my go to when trying a new place and these guys delivered. Papas rancheros also has great flavor. The salsa is very good with just the right amount of spice. Great experience and will definitely return.
Amazing & consistent Service for decades. Beautiful Staff with Quick Service Amongst Busy Times of Day. This is my favorite restaurant in whole city. I Never tire of eating here. Very clean Dining Area. Great Selection of Freshly made Donuts, and Full Breakfast/Plate/Entree Menu. SOME CUSTOMERS self
Last stop in San Antonio before heading back home and I LOVE THIS PLACE. My weak spot are donuts and tacos and this place had BOTH. Breakfast tacos (chorizo/egg, bean/cheese/bacon), chalupa were PHENOMENAL. Highly highly recommend. Such a good vibe inside. Busy yet still organized with efficient sta
Really good tacos. We had the carne guisada, bean and cheese, papas rancheras. It was very good, the taco salsa was very good as well. I noticed a lot of people were getting there tacos toasted so that might be the plan next time I’m here. The doughnuts were fresh and well made. The red one and the
Well, google did its job . Search breakfast tacos and this hidden hole in the wall popped up . But it’s not a taco place is a donut shop as well So worth it, delicious but the best thing super FRESH Keep up the great work , don’t lose the yummy touch
Bean and cheese on a corn tortilla. Picadillo taco on a flour tortilla. Potato egg and bacon on a flower tortilla. Tell me when to stop LOL. And should I get started on the donuts? I like them all but man those classic basic glazed donuts, especially when they come right out of the oven, if they don
The Original Donut Shop in San Antonio is a delightful haven for any donut enthusiast. From the moment you step in, the inviting aroma of freshly baked goodies wraps around you, setting the stage for an exceptional experience. Their donuts are nothing short of spectacular - each bite is a harmonious
Best breakfast in San Antonio, hands down. You can get in the taco/plate line on the left or the donut line on the right. The breakfast tacos are awesome. The migas plate was slightly greasy, but the refried beans are amazing, salsa is tasty, and the back porch is a lovely way to spend a Saturday mo
So the tortilla is thicker than what I'm used to, but it was super fluffy. I had to run a few errands before I could sit and eat these, so I thought the tortilla would be soggy, but it tasted fresh and hot. I ordered Carne guisada, and it was tasty. I wish it could have been slightly spicy, but that
Had been wanting to try this place for a while. Such a bustling place on a cold rainy morning! People lined up at the counter waiting to order, picking up to go, busy drive-thru window, separate doughnut counter line, homemade tortillas flipping...there's A LOT going on! I managed to order doughnuts
I hadn't been here since the pre pandemic days. I wasn't impressed during my 1st visit. So I decided to give them a 2nd chance. I walked in and grabbed a bean, cheese & bacon Taco, TO-GO. The beans were freshly made, and I got lucky. The beans were a bit salty but overall tasty. The flour torti
It was the breakfast tacos for me! Made a quick visit to San Antonio in order to evacuate for Hurricane Laura and ate at this place twice for breakfast. There was a good size drive thru line both times I went. I really appreciate their online order/pick up option. Prices were decent and the food w
By far some of the best breakfast tacos that I have had. Weekends are crazy busy here so make sure you get there early so you’re not in line too long. For the price, you definitely can’t beat it and the food is amazing. What’s even better is that you have the option of getting tacos or donuts all wi
