Salsalitos Mexican Restaurant

It’s been probably over 10 years since we last visited Salsalitos and that in itself is a shame because this restaurant deserves more visits for sure. We would for sure if it weren’t for the fact that we live out of state now. Regardless, our recent visit was just as good as our last; if not better. Like fine wine, Salsalitos has aged well. The food, service and overall experience just seems so much better than we recall. We’ll most certainly try harder to make time for a much sooner return visit.

I went in this morning at it opened. It was quiet, but I got my breakfast to go. I come here from Kyle, because my daughter loves this place. Especially your fresh flour tortillas. They are definitely a go-to. Meli was really nice and sweet. She formally introduced herself to me and said she'd take care of my daughter and I when we come in to dine next time. Thank you for making my solo trip a special one. I look forward to dining here again soon.

Food was amazing! Waitress took forever to come and ask for the order. Then once the food came she never came back to check on us. I was sucking on ice when I ran out of water until I left. My friend wanted a drink besides water, but she never came back. Then he had to flag her down to get the check. 🙄

Haven't been here in a while but they did not disappoint. Wait staff was fast and attentive. Food was served piping hot and was delicious as always. Only complaint I would have on whole meal was the salsa was a little heavy on the garlic. Other than that , would recommend it to anyone. Wife had puffy tacos and I had the crispy tacos. Photo is of their desert offerings. Unfortunately we didn't have room.

Great service. My husband & I came here Sunday afternoon for lunch. It was fairly busy, but the service was on point. Our waitress was very friendly and she took good care of us, ensuring we had all we needed throughout our visit. I ordered crispy tacos & my husband ordered beef enchiladas a la Carte. It was delicious & good portion sizes. So if you're craving good ol Mexican food, we recommend you give Salsalitos a try!

I really liked my lunch today! I had cheese enchiladas with beef crispy tacos. I'm really picky about enchilada sauce, as I hate the soupy brown sauce some places make, but Salsalitos did not make their enchiladas with that. It was a very good meat enchilada sauce; the corn tortillas were cooked (not dry), and the cheese on top was a good amount. The beef in the tacos was good, not bland, and the taco shell was crispy. The borracho beans were unexpectedly spicy and I could not eat them. It was a very good lunch and I will be back!

First time here had a great experience. The service was fast as we sat the chips and salsa were put on table ,our cups never emptied. Not only was the michilada delicious all I paid for was the beer really. Food came out fast and the best part was when the waitress brought to go box. She also brought me a to go cup to for the michilada . Made my day. I will definitely be coming back.
