The Hoppy Monk - San Antonio - Photo album

Hands down, one of the few best breweries here in San Antonio with GREAT FOOD. My partner ordered the Egg & Beef Burger which was recommended to me; however, I ordered the Fish & Chips along with a Chimay. Oh My Goodness! Everything was delicious! The Mac & Cheese.. Ah. You need to try it yourself.
Stopped in while passing through San Antonio for a bite to eat and a few drinks. The food was wonderful (wings, Ruben, and elote fritters), and everything we had was great. This place has a wonderful tap list, however 4 of the first 6 beers that I was targeting had run out (must have been really g
Nice bar with a good selection of beers, great cocktails and very interesting bites. To drink we got the Empress Strikes Back cocktail which comes with gin, it was a small glass but it was very good. The Hoppy Monk is a very unique restaurant, it has an industrial look to it, an endless amount of alcohol and beer, it has covered parking, handicap parking as well. The wait staff is very friendly.
Love the beer menu. Loads of my favorite style, sour. Food was delicious. The purple chips are amazingly fresh too. Easy one of my favorite places to go at night. Patio dog friendly, if you have a well behaved one bring them here. Some waiters even had treats. Great atmosphere. 5 out of 5. Keep up t
