Best Mardi Gras Party in SA!!! Tyler our server was top notch. For as many people there, he was on point! Mudbugs and other food was delicious.
Our waiter was Andrew C and he was hands down the best waiter we've ever had! Great service and food.
Overall, our recent visit was as good as our previous visit from a couple of years ago. That said, the hamburger buns were not fresh. In fact, a bit on the stale side. We’ll chalk that up as a one-off as we’re confident it was not a common issue, but it did take away from the rest of an otherwise pleasant visit.

First time at Willie’s - it was excellent all around. Food & service top notch. Our server, Allison, was absolutely the best! From the fried mushrooms & gravy/ranch to the chicken fried steak and fried chicken club. And jack & coke Icees were spot on!!! Be back soon
We actually ordered cheese sticks & mushrooms before we left for some friends - they were that good.
The only thing I had an issue with is they way I make my order. But they have a good variety of food, it's always been great quality and amount surpassing the price point. The servers have without fail be helpful,fast and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is a combination of family friendly and recreational. The seats are comfortable plus the locations have always been clean. The restrooms are small for the amount of people they can have in there but it's not been an issue so far .
One of my wife's favorite restaurants in San Antonio. She worked for many years close to willies and had a lot of takeout meals from Willies. She never got bored with it and still enjoys it. Shrimp still my favorite go to meal there.
Oct 2023- stopped by and had the chicken fried steak with onions rings. Outstanding , wife had the chicken and vegetables platter and enjoyed her meal too.
Willie’s is my favorite place for a cheap and good margarita! The food is also always great! Paco is an amazing waiter and very attentive to our needs (:
I absolutely LOVED our server Kimmie! She’s very very sweet, positive, and attentive! She kept us updated in our meal times when coming out. Food was amazing as well! Just amazing energy radiating from Kimmie! Great night at willies and I will definitely come again and ask for Kimmie as our server!

We had the pleasure of encountering Jocelyn as well tonight! She greeted us with smiles and positive energy! She wasn’t our server but she went out of her way to say hi and hope we are enjoying our meal! Speaking to Jocelyn felt like family! Very very friendly and brought a comfort to us!

Favorite place to meet friends in the summer, my go-tos are the salmon or their chicken fried club and sweet potato fries! Jackie was our server today out on the patio, she was so nice and helpful!
I went here the other day, and let me just tell y’all, Kimmie our waitress was absolutely superb. She made this experience the best there is these days. We don’t go out often, due to the lack of care in the industry. Kimmie gave us hope that there are still excellent servers in the world. Thank you Willies for hiring such a lovely personality of a server. And food was delicious. We will definitely be back to this location. And be asking for our same waitress again. Good job!
Willie’s never disappoints! The burgers are great the Po’ Boys are great! Love the fried shrimp! Our server Paco took great care of us. We never had to ask for anything because he had what we needed before we even had to ask. Love this place, been coming here for years and will keep coming back not only for the food, but the service as well! Great job Paco!
I get lunch to go from here weekly. It is consistently good. My favorite item was the brisket tacos, but they recently removed those from the menu. Other items are very good. I eat the redfish when eating in. The icehouse chicken Willie sandwich is excellent. Onion rings and fried mushrooms are excellent sides.
