El Jarro De Arturo

This was my first time stop at this amazing restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. The food was amazing, and their queso fleamando was just out of this world. We had 2 drinks, which were a strawberry Margarita and an Arturos Margarita. For $16, 10oz the Arturo Margarita was awful. Had NO flavor, which should have been made with Patron and has a very distinctive taste. The one I received just had a bad taste. Tasted like water with poor quality vodka. Again, our food was amazingly delicious, but bartender either is not aware of how to make drinks or just failed to do so on this day. Disappointed. For the price we paid we should've enjoyed every item we ordered.

This San Antonio gem remains a top pick for us. Even amid the bustling crowd during dinner, the speed of the food delivery held up admirably. The atmosphere exudes warmth, and the menu is a delight with its abundant choices. Brace yourself for sizable portions – perfect for sharing a hearty meal. A go-to spot that consistently satisfies both the palate and the craving for a welcoming dining experience.

Great service. Great food and great atmosphere. You can easily tell why this restaurant is so popular. The service is spot on. Chips and salsa arrive at your table the moment you sit down. And if you are drinking - which I would recommend - their margaritas are wonderful. The food is delicious and come in large portions and while the restaurant is usually crowded - having a conversation is no problem. All in all if you are looking for an excellent Mexican restaurant - you should try el Jarro - I think you will be pleased.

I ordered the El Jarro #2 and it was delicious. The flour tortillas are made fresh! I also had the Mexican coffee (black coffee, Kahlu, and tequila)- yum. The restaurant is not wheelchair friendly right off the bat- tables needed to be moved around. However, the staff quickly and courteously responded to our need for additional space, which was greatly appreciated.
