After reading the reviews I decided it was probably worth the 20 minute walk and Lula’s did not disappoint. The puffy taco was hands down the best taco I’ve ever had. My waitress, Sunshine, was super sweet. When I’m back in San Antonio I will he coming back!

Lula’s Mexican Cafe has a small town cafe feel even though it’s located in downtown San Antonio. Traditional, delicious Tex-Mex breakfast and lunch at a bargain price.

Fast, delicious, inexpensive and clean place. No frills. The staff is friendly and fast. The bldg is beautiful example of historic San Antonio. The access to surrounding hotels where you get gouged for breakfast of some muffins and Coffee and swanky river view.

Amazing food at a great price, but sometimes they don't offer chips and salsa to go before 11am

The Poco de Todo plate was very good! Being downtown, parking is always an issue. But, if you are downtown in the morning, I would definitely recommend this spot.

I was craving some food downtown. I walked upon Lula's and thought I would try the cheese enchiladas. Before my plate came out they brought chips and salsa and it was really really good. My enchilada plate was decent but I would have liked more cheese inside the enchiladas. I gave 4 stars overall f

Totally a corner restaurant geared for local companies, I snuck in and found the food to be very good. Fantastic authentic Mexican breakfast! Fast, polite service, and cheaper than Waffle House! Would be a great deal at twice the price and is a short walk from anywhere on the River Walk!

Food was good. Prices are excellent. Service was great and the folks were all super nice and welcoming.
