We came here not just for food but an experience and that is what we got! Our server was amazing with recommendations and guiding us through the menu. the food was impeccable the atmosphere although warm out my refreshing drink cooled me down, we sat under the shade how lovely, the live guitar was a nice touch šŸ˜„ thank you Toro!

DELICIOUS!!! Every time!! I met my friends here, and we love this place, why you ask? Because the food is always good and service is great! I like how cozy it is, it's a bit small but it works, they have a nice patio with a beautiful fountain and live music (certain days of the week) The food here is from Spain, with a nice mix of Mexico cuisine, the dishes are small since they are "Tapas". I must say their mixology is one of the best. I LOVE how they make here the Carajillo! My favorite place to get it tbh, other places don't make it like they do here, it's a show! Get your camera ready if you order this drink! Their main dish is the Paella, I like the black Paella, but this time we did only tapas, all super yummy. This place is perfect for a first date or for a night with your gals! Enjoy!!

Had the time of my life out at Toro. Really cool hangout and super cool people. Walter our bartender was totally on point with not only me, but all of his customers. Food was totally on point and super tasty. The atmosphere was so relaxing. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!!

You are missing out if you dont try this gem! Staff were so helpful with my food allergies, she suggested exactly what I could choose from on the menu. Food was FANTASTIC! You must try the sangria! It was delicious!

Interesting place for tapas and paella dishes. The menu offers some higher end food so do not be surprised by the prices. The waiter gave wonderful recommendations for a combination meat and cheese plate. I also ordered the potato soup with was perfect on a cold day. My friend ordered the small Paella and it was enough to feed three people. The only issue I had with the restaurant was that it was a bit chilly inside the restaurant. It was a cold and icky day outside so they definitely needed to turn up the heat inside.

Had dinner here this past Saturday. Angel was our excellent server and the food was top notch. The bacon dates, potatoes, and shrimp tapas were all on point. The small meat and cheese board, with added Iberico ham, was delicious. We also tried the small Toro paella but brought most of it home as we were stuffed. It too was delicious. Will be back to sit outside as thatā€™s where the live music plays.

So good! I used to be a nonbeliever in paella but Toro definitely changed my mind. I went with 4 friends for a birthday so we decided to go all out and order tapas, paella, and dessert. All of it was delicious and just the right amount to be filling but not overwhelming. I actually really like when tapas are on the smaller side so you can try more of them without filling up. We also ordered a pitcher of sangria for like $8 which was amazing! Because this was my first time at Toro, I decided to stick to the traditional dishes, however, Iā€™m looking forward to visiting again and trying some of the pulpo dishes. šŸ¤¤

The wife and I like trying new things, and today we decided on proper Spanish food. Every single thing we had from the gin cocktails and every course were incredible. The only reason the tapas and paella are not pictured is because we couldnā€™t wait to dig in. The staff was more than helpful in navigating the menu. We will be back 10/5.

This is one of our all-time favorite restaurants in San Antonio. The food is so authentic and delicious. The service is always amazing as well. Our favorite is the croquetas de jamon serrano and their paella. Definitely recommend it!

Came out on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate a birthday. It was shortly after opening, so there was plenty of seating. Hostess immediately seated us and took the drink orders. Put in the large order of the Toro Paella since it's made to order and takes 30-45 minutes. Started off with the White Sangria while we decided on the tapas. The Sangria was very light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. For the tapas, we ordered a little bit of everything as everyone just called out what caught their attention. I'll probably miss some, but ordered the Vieiras en su Concha, Piquillos Rellenos, Datiles al Tocino & Queso, Mejillones al Vino, Croquetas de Jamon Serrano, Calamores Fritos, Boquerones, Ceviche de Pulpo. Great thing about tapas is they naturally come out at different times as they're served as they're ready. It's also nice to share different dishes with great company and conversation. After about 30 minutes, which went by very quickly while eating the tapas, the paella came out and looked great. There were generous amounts of seafood, chicken, chorizo, pork belly, and vegetables. The rice had a nice crisp on the bottom, but still fluffy on top. It was a great main course after all the tapas. Lastly, they brought a few slices of cake to celebrate the birthday. I've been here several times before, but it's always fun ordering different tapas to share. Food and service is always consistently good.

We dined outdoors on a Thursday night, with advance reservations, and had a wonderful meal. The meat and cheese selections were delicious. Food was very good. Service was knowledgeable. The evening was extremely busy - to avoid getting many dishes at once, we will be mindful to order only one to two dishes at a time (sharing) or request staged plates.

Great, authentic Spanish cuisine. Their Paellas are amazing and their tapas are just as good. I really enjoyed the Pan Tomate with Jamon. Really stylish place with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the servers and staff are really nice and welcoming. It was fun to practice my Spanish with them. 100% recommend, and I hear they will be expanding into Austin and Dallas!
