Great food and service. We enjoyed the live music however, it was a bit loud. We would have preferred to sit outside on the patio, but the music was too loud for that. The musician was very good though.

Best gumbo I've ever had. Hurricanes are stout & good atmosphere with live music & piano bar.

Had our Sunday funday here yesterday and our party sat on the outside patio. The live music provided by Chasing Rabbits was freaking awesome! I went with the blackened chicken nachos. Nachos hit the spot after walking around downtown. The andouille sausage was a nice touch. My other half went with the burger. Of course I had a few bites. She ordered it medium and she got it medium. Burger was juicy and flavorful 💯 4 stars for the service. Our server was personable, but was a little too long winded and slacked when it came time to wrap up our check. Other than that we had a blast. One last thing. The Hurricane was 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 it taste so good you forget there’s alcohol

Hands down it ended up being my favorite restaurant in San Antonio while visiting. Originally I expected Irish cuisine, but walking in and seeing German beer steins hanging from the ceiling only intrigued me further. Then when the menu had options like Gumbo and Jambalaya I was hooked! I tried both dishes and they are delicious. The Gumbo is a must try! The patio was great as well, with live music nightly. I had the pleasure of listening to "Island Mind" play while there. Service was amazing and attentive and was great at suggesting options. If I return to the area again, I'll definitely be visiting again.

What an awesome afternoon experience! Xzavier and his little helper were over the top with excellent service. The live music was very enjoyable even as he worked through the intermittent rainshowers! The drink sampler was a fun share experience before settling down to a, as always, Pat O'Brien's signature Hurricane! Can't wait to visit again!

Pat O’Brien’s is one of my favorite places in New Orleans. We stopped by so I could get the étouffée and alligator appetizer… which they don’t have at all at this location. What a bummer! We ended up enjoying a few hurricanes with a muffuletta while we listened to the band play classic rock and 90’s rock. All in all we had a great experience and would suggest popping in for some patio time. I just REALLY wanted that étouffée!

Great live music, the bloody Mary is solid. And the jumbalya was delicious

Great fun place. Good food & drinks. Live music was nice tonight. I had the nachos, they were plentiful & delicious. Chips were plain, like out of a store bought bag...but held up well to the cheese & sour cream.
My son had the jambalaya. He said it was a lot. He can eat too. I was surprised he didn't finish it. He liked it, said it was very flavourful.
The hurricane is nice & strong, like Jimmy Buffet recommended.
I can't give 5 stars because there was a cover charge of $2 pp added to the check and a credit card service fee. There is no signage at the entrance or on the menu to advise or forewarn of these charges.
My waitress was excellent. Much better than ones I've had in the past. She was very attentive, smiled, and seemed happy to be doing her job.
I'm not sure why they have a cover charge. Seems like just a coy way to make a few extra bucks. Be cautious.

The beginning and the end of our pub crawl. Friendly service, good food and quality entertainment. Didn't mind sitting outside in >100 F temperatures to listen to the band.

Visited last weekend and enjoyed a great live band on the gorgeous patio. We had the best server, named Thorne. He was friendly, prompt and he went out of his way to get my brother food, after the kitchen had already closed down. The drinks were good and the bartenders were friendly. Great spot to enjoy live music. They also have a piano bar. Tip for visiting, make sure you enter through Losoya St. Entrance. The Alamo Stm entrance is only an exit. They charged a $3 cover, but take cards and cash!

Always a great time! The staff is super friendly and attentive, the food is always delicious, and the drinks are always on point! Great place for live music! Keep up the good work, y’all!!

Awesome aesthetic appeal, loved the attendants in the powder room; food was delicious Now for the downside, after the kitchen closed waitstaff was nonexistent, was told by gentleman (staff) at door when kitchen closed waitstaff leaves; he wasn't kidding. Next when you pay $10.00 a drink you would expect a glass not a plastic cup, hurricanes and beer are in glass. Shots of crown in plastic made it feel cheap. The address is on Alamo Plaza, we are (2of3) disabled had to walk around to stairs to get in on a different street; so much for accessability.

This is the third Pat O’s location that I have been to, and compared to the establishments original location. From the father son duo on the patio, to our waitress Jen, to the food, and than to the piano bar with Greg we had an absolute amazing experience . So amazing that we came in for one drink and left six hours later! Thank you for the experience!

Waiters, Bartenders, Managers, all staff treat you like family. Food is awesome. Can't leave San Antonio without trying a Hurricane from Pat's. Great location. Best place to visit everytime.

We went to check out the place sine we’ve been to the one in New Orleans. We had a couple of drinks in the afternoon and heard the piano bar was open after 8:00. Greg was the piano player and we had the best time. Stayed until about midnight. The best time we’ve had all week.

The restaurant itself was good. Initially a group of us went there to participate in the Onesie Pajama Pub event. The bar crawl portion was horrible and extremely unorganized from the very beginning. So bad, that we decided to come back to Pat O’Briens and finish our evening. Now, once the decision was made...the evening was amazing. Their “free shot” was a green concoction that I wasn’t to buy a gallon of! Delicious! The staff was very busy but friendly and patient. The food was good ( wings came out cold) but they were still delicious! I will probably not donate another $25 for the bar crawl but we will definitely return to Pat O’Briens! Good job and a great experience.

This place thought my actual ID was fake. They tried to take it from me and it took 10 minutes to talk them into giving it back so I could fly back home Monday. It was also a $10 cover fee but doesn’t matter bc they didn’t let me in!!

Awesome time, bartender was on point! Love this place

I had a wonderful time sitting out in the patio area listening to the music.

The food was really good, and the prices reasonable. But the service was really, really, slow. May have been our specific waitress. She was friendly but perhaps overwhelmed?

Having been to Pat O’Brien’s in the French Quarter in New Orleans, I was really happy to stumble upon this one while looking for a parking space near the Alamo. I got to Pat’s at the beginning of happy hour and was treated to a duo playing classic rock music. What a nice surprise. I ordered a Bloody Mary and some red beans and rice. I was in heaven. Returning to California next week, but I’m going to try to get back for a second visit before I leave.

Great food, good music comfortable environment, only thing to nitpick is the weather which is out of their control and why they still get 5 stars
Debbie Everingham
Tea was great really enjoyed and the young lady that looked after us was great. Celita I think her name was.
And they guy sing was good to listen too
