Paesano's Riverwalk

Went here with a party of six before a play. They held our reservation for 20 minutes when we called to tell them we were having issues with parking. Once we got there, our table was ready. The host was very good. We told him we were going to a show, and he made sure we got served quickly without feeling rushed. We got our bill as soon as we were done eating and he checked us out at the table. Very happy with service and food.

Excellent experience! We walked in off the Riverwalk and ate outside. It was very comfortable. Our waitress Christina was awesome. Great service and lovely personality! I got the Parmesan Crusted Chicken & my husband had the Chicken Parm which rivaled any of the Italian restaurants in Little Italy, NYC! Great Espresso martinis too. Definitely be back next time we’re in town!

A nice Italian restaurant on the riverwalk. A little pricey, but it was still a positive experience. I ordered the Pork Osso Buco with Gnocchi and Asparagus ($32) & it was delicious!! The hunk of pork on a stick was very filling, & the gnocchi cheese was so tasty! My fiancée ordered fettuccine alfredo w/ chicken, & it was subpar: the chicken was dry & the pasta noodles tasted ok. My waiter, Jonathan, was great! He was very nice, attentive, & helped pack our leftovers in to-go containers. We were also seated under a heat lamp so the environment was very relaxing with the river nearby us.

This is our new 'spot'. Period. OMG. SRSLY. We started out amazed that they got us in (table of 2, but the line was for real)....and when we walked through the restaurant, THE SMELLS Y'ALL!!! Got to our table and found the only downside....this is a LOUD restaurant y'all, but when you get your order, you see why. AND. YOU. DON'T. CARE. So....we ordered giant calamari. Typically a pretty "meh" app, but typically they are not cooked here. I'm not a calamari person, but holy moly that was good!! The chipotle marinara was really - REALLY - GOOD.....But the lime-caper sauce was other worldly. And I don't like limes. Or capers!! On to the main course, my partner and I ordered the Stuffed Shells (very solid, a bit saucy), and the Shrimp Paesano. Now, don't get me wrong, those stuffed shells were good. But did you ever see the commercials for Klondike bars? Where they are like "What would you do? For a Klondike bar?" Yeah.....I'd do some messed up stuff for some Shrimp Paesano. SRSLY. OMG OMG OMG. In addition to being right down the River Walk from "our" hotel, the atmosphere is phenomenal, and we cannot wait to come back and sample more of the menu!!
