Saltgrass Steak House

I went to this restaurant with a party of 15 as a celebration dinner for mine and my fiancé's engagement. They accommodated my large party with ease amd grace, and even put some cake and cupcakes in their refrigerator for us. The atmosphere was great, we noticed and loved their oil lamps inside. As soon as we walked in, we could smell the cleaning products used which suprised us in a good way. We knew that everything was sanitized and incredibly clean. The food was great, they didn't mix up a single person's order even though again, all 15 of us ordered something different. My fillet was thick and came out a little underdone, and when I asked my waiter if the kitchen could flash it for just a moment longer, the manager came out with a new fillet and was incredibly kind and apologetic about the incident. Everything was absolutely delicious and incredible and everyone in my party left with a good thing to say. We are so impressed with the restaurant and are grateful to have had our engagement dinner here. It was the perfect place to go!!

Update: We went today for our anniversary and Thanksgiving. Food was as always delicious. We got the pumpkin cheesecake and the carrot cake as dessert. Carrot cake was perfect, pumpkin cheesecake had a bit too much nutmeg for my liking but my daughter loved it, the consistency of the cheesecake was amazing. All in all we just love Saltgrass. Our waitress was amazing! Steaks cooked perfectly as usual. The queso is just amazing, nothing to complain at all!

I went here for a special occasion. We were seated quickly and got our drinks soon after. Our food didn't take too long. My steak was cooked just right (medium rare), and it was tasty, full of flavor. I also had fried shrimp with it, but I didn't care for the batter on them. The spices were not appealing. I also had mashed potatoes that were also yummy. They were somewhat busy but took care of us. I liked country decorations. It's worth the try for their many different dishes.

Lunchtime was a near packed house. But mom & I were seated immediately and our waiter was most informative about various options for my mom. We had fried mushrooms for appetizer and they were hot off the stove delicious along with hot bread & butter. Mom had lunchtime shrimp with asparagus and I had the chicken fried chicken & gravy also with asparagus. Fresh hot and tasty. We had a very nice experience and saw people waiting outside for seating. Very good food and the staff very cordial and knowledgeable.
