Oxtails were really good. Fried catfish was very good. The sides weren't as warm as I would have liked them to be. The mac and cheese tasted good but was basically a solid ball of macaroni and cheese. I didn't eat it

We did takeout from Mrs. Kitchens for dinner last week. We purchased the Smothered Chicken entree with Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Blackeye Peas. We also purchased the Meatloaf entree with Mashed Potatoes, gravy and Cabbage. We also received two orders of Cornbread for both entrees. All of the food was well seasoned and very tasty. We will definitely return again and would certainly recommend you try their restaurant.

I don't think you need my recommendation, but this place was so damn good!
It's a cafeteria-style serving, so the food is ready. The pork chops fell off the bone. Developed flavors and served hot. It definitely reminded me of Mom's cooking.
Large portion sizes. The price is good value. I also loved how happy all the staff was to be there. Added this place to my favorites💚

The food was good but a little too salty for my taste. It was the first time I visited. My friend and I asked a couple of ladies how the food was as they were leaving. They said they had the fish as they were fish people it was good. But the food was on the salty side. They also warned us not to get mac & cheese as it wasn't as good as they expected. I got the fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, and collard greens. My friend got the smothered pork chops, black-eyed peas, and collard greens.

This was my first time here. Food was good. I had the meatloaf, cabbage and sweet potatoes with corn bread. I love the atmosphere here. Music and ambiance is a whole vibe. Will come back in the future

My husband and I was referred here by a friend. Great customer service and gravy taste like my Big Momma’s on the wood stove. Oh, the peach cobbler…peaches were seasoned to perfection! Clean place, roomy and great atmosphere. Definitely worth the visit and price.
