I visited this restaurant on recommendation from a friend and was blown away by the exceptional service! Aaliyah, was both friendly and professional, making our experience even more enjoyable. The food was also delicious, making it a truly satisfying meal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that left me feeling as joyful as Christmas morning

I had a wonderful lunch here after my massage at the hotel spa. The food was delicious, my Ketel One lemon drop was made perfectly and the wait staff were attentive. I ordered the Cesar salad with grilled shrimp and truffle fries. Both were delicious. The salad had anchovies on it instead of in the dressing which I didn't mind. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The truffle fries were crispy with just enough truffle flavor.

We had a delightful evening at Ostra. Our waitress (Hannah) was extremely pleasant, we had a window seat with a view of the river, but the stand out winner of the entire evening was the Hamachi Crudo appetizer. I am told this is an in-house creation. It is sushi grade tuna in a bit of a vinegar mustard sauce, but the truly imaginative part is the hard cracked corn, which balances the softness of the fish, and the sweet pea vines, which gave it a green counterpoint to the sauce. Not to be missed!

We celebrated our wedding here, and it could not have been more perfect. The food was amazing, the staff was above and beyond! We come here every time we’re in San Antonio, and are never disappointed. Strong drinks, delicious food- to die for desserts. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience🥰 Can’t wait to come back !

Not only is this spot one of the only spots that does breakfast until 11am, they are also an amazing group of hospitable people. I HIGHLY recommend stopping in for breakfast, Nonetheless at any point of the day. The staff were so sweet and so accommodative. The food was to die for, I mean the best breakfast I've had in my 30 years of living haha. Richard and his staff were so amazing I will definitely be returning anytime I'm in San Antonio 💗

I have an affinity for delicious food and amazing service. Those two things are harder and harder to find, and are especially harder to find together. Ostra excels in both of those areas. We ordered the East Coast Oysters, the Scallops, and the Tuna, and oh my gosh, every bite was delectable. The oysters were some of the best we have ever had. They were so good that we went there 3 nights in a row just for the oysters. The scallops and Tuna were cooked perfectly and the sauces and vegetables that accompanied were a pleasant surprise to the palate. I was in the River Walk area for 5 days and the food at Ostra was hands down the best I had. Our server was Jorge. He was incredibly attentive and personable and was knowledgeable about the menu. If he is working when you visit, ask to sit in his section. Since we were so impressed with our experience, we asked to meet the chef. Chef John was humble and kind and possesses amazing skills of preparing food in ways rarely seen, and it's good, high quality food. If you want a 5 star dining experience you must absolutely visit Ostra.

wonderful experience. not too loud so we could have a great conversation. Everyones food was delicious. Highlights were the salmon, chicken, and redfish. one person ordered the vegan cauliflower steaks. It was delicious, but she was still hungry. service was great. Interesting drink menu with full bar. Desserts looked good, but I was too full.
