1st time here. Have to tell you I am a vegetarian due to my health, but today my boyfriend wanted to take me here to try it. So I said sure, to my surprise I loved it. Yes I love Bar-B-Q before I became a vegetarian but this was such a wonderful treat for me. If you enjoy Bar-B-Q? This is your place, come and enjoy what Texas Bar-B-Q really is all about. Your welcome in advance.

This was our first time. We came with a gift card my husband got from his company. Man, we were not disappointed! The staff was super friendly! Especially the cashier 🥹❤️ My favorite part was the sweet potato casserole! Ugh! To DIE FOR!!! Mind you, I’m pregnant and super picky right now. So to be able to eat everything on my plate and my boyfriend’s left overs was amazing!! We also tried the brownie 😍 It was so soft and has the chocolate chunky chips in it! And the sauces were amazing!! We will definitely be back! Thank y’all for your amazing food and hospitality. Forever customers! Happy birthday to the pit master!!!! I hope your day is as amazing as you are!

I've been a Big Bib fan for years, but I do find a few things changing with the smiling service. Last visit I bought two Lbs of meats and they offered no bread... I asked for it and got 3 slices, no receipt, and the wrong sauce. Pay attention, Mr. Bib The little things make people return customers. In their favor....The food was very good!

I had heard good things about this restaurant, so I decided to visited with my wife. First of all, the staff was so friendly, they made us feel like family. The Pitmaster came out and introduced herself. She was so pleasant and this made our experience delightful. Now to the food, I had the brisket plate and my wife had the ribs. The brisket was cooked to perfection. The bark, smoke ring and flavor were second to none. Better than any brisket I've had in San Antonio in years. My wife's ribs were also top-notch and very flavorful. Fall off the bone good. We will be going back for sure and recommend Big Bib wholeheartedly.

The food was AMAZING! Everything we were looking for. My husband and I recently moved to the area from Pennsylvania and we were missing soul food badly! Now this isn’t fully a soul food place however it was the perfect match for a good plate of cookout type of food. The smoked turkey legs and loaded baked potato casserole are EVERYTHING! The brisket was super moist too, green beans had great flavor ! And the service was great too very pleasant over the phone and attentive when I arrived to pick up the food. Also I’m 27 minutes away and my food was still nice and warm when I got home, huge plus!

So let me begin by announcing if you live in San Antonio or are visiting you MUST give your taste buds a treat and eat here! The food, service and atmosphere is second to none! Every single time my family and I eat here we are greeted with friendly employees and the owner is always so generous and kind in putting tables together for my wife, children and I (we are a big family of 6). BBQ is always delicious and fresh and you get generous portions of everything you order. From the green beans to the baked potato casserole you won't be disappointed. Establishment is always clean along with the men's and women's room. You also have the option to dine inside or sit outside on the patio. I would recommend the Lil Bib for a good size family because you get to taste all the delicious barbecue.

After hearing about Texas BBQ for so many years, I finally got the chance to have an authentic experience while visiting San Antonio. I am so glad that I chose “Big Bib” for my indoctrination. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed generous portions of perfectly seasoned and cooked wood-smoked brisket, fried catfish, greens, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato casserole, potato casserole, and green beans. The food was second only to the lovely sisters (and staff) who prepared it. Nothing better than great food in a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment—felt like home. I hope they seriously consider my request to open a restaurant in Phoenix :) The Big Bib BBQ is the best! Thank you, ladies!

The Big Bib BBQ restaurant is my most opportunity to write a review. Why? Because it was too good not to. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday so my first attempts to eat there didn't happen. Today being Friday, I was able to get in and order. I went with brisket and pulled pork with pintos and baked potato casserole. The brisket and the port were fantastic. Juicy with vey little waste at all. I'll say that I like the brisket better than the pulled pork, but doesn't everyone. Pintos are pintos so not much to say there. However, the baked potato casserole was great. I really enjoyed that. Now, originally I wasn't going to get the sweet potato casserole. I'm glad I did. I don't like sweet potatoes... Never have. But these were cooked with some brown sugar and a pecan pie crust and the flavor is just wild. I equate it to some peach cobbler. Regardless, I'm hooked. Shelby took care of me and her mom Sheila is the one responsible for the sweet potato casserole. They'll take care of you too. It looks like a BBQ place, smells like a BBQ place and tastes like a BBQ place. It is a BBQ place, and a very good open. You should try it out; but don't go on Monday or Tuesday.

We were here for a ColorGuard Competition and found this great BBQ place. Highly recommend!! Brisket was perfect as well as the other food had by my family. Their complimentary homemade potato chips were a hit and their seasoned fries were tops with my teens.
