In town for an event and stopped by this Riverwalk restaurant. Honestly the food here is fabulous. Everything we got, even the fries that came with the steak, tasted amazing. Our one and only complaint is the ambience and setup of the restaurant. It is EXTREMELY cramped and claustrophobic. I took a quick look around and the tables don’t seat more than 4, and even then the tables are tiny! They’re seated super close to each other and leaves no room for staff or customers to move around. This place is known for their table side guac and with how little space there is, the poor waiters are doing it sandwiched in between other customers. I really hope the restaurant reconsiders their spacing and how it affects people’s experiences.

Stopped here for dessert when I was walking on the Riverwalk the atmosphere was super nice. It was a beautiful night out. I was hungry for bread pudding and a cup of coffee. The coffee was amazing and the server said it was freshly made and fresh ground beans the bread pudding was really good. I ordered it with ice cream on top and it had whiskey sauce my only Thing would be it was a little more dense than I like my bread pudding but overall it was very good

Teresa S. was incredible with her service. She gave us the time to linger (sit, chat, drink wine, soak in the ambiance) without rushing us. She gave great recommendations and made sure our glasses were never empty. The food itself was incredible and difficult not to scarf down. We got the crab cakes and the wood-grilled fish. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here twice, the first time was a couple of years ago. I went here recently in hopes of reliving the great experience but was slightly disappointed. I ordered 1 starter, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. It took a decent amount of time to get the dishes out but they were pretty busy. The waiter was helpful enough to let us know which foods may contain my brother’s allergies and gave us a lot of different options to choose from. The food overall was okay but it didn’t live up to my expectations from my very first experience, maybe it’s because it was my very first time there. Despite all of that, this place is a really good place to go to if you want to dine on the Riverwalk. Just get the tables inside unless you want to be sweating in the heat on the patio.

This is a MUST to check out if you're in San Antonio! I was waited by Melanie, who made great recommendations and prepared my guacamole table side. I also met Sam, the manager who gave me a warm welcome. The service is great, the food is also great. I'm definitely going back. I would love to see what they could do with lamb or goat. I was very satisfied with the service and the steak.

Wow - all food items and drinks were superb. The “Guacamole for Two” is made with fresh ingredients next to your table. It’s a must-order! We also had the Beef Tenderloin with Jumbo Shrimp ($54) and it was very well seasoned and delicate at the same time. Great staff and atmosphere. Will come back for sure!

I gave the steak a try per previous review but i was not amazed. It was ok, however their fresh guacamole and margarita was really good! My kids also liked the chicken fry steak with their special gravy.

Great location and food. I will say they are on the pricy side but it’s very good food. I’d call it fine dinning. You can reserve a table right in the river if you like. I had the grilled salmon as no lardon salad. The salmon was cooked perfect and tasted fantastic. My friend had the shrimp and grits, he loved his meal as well. If you looking for a fine meal check it out.

The black and white soup was delicious! I also had the chicken fried ribeye. It was good. A little too much breading for my liking, but good! Would visit again!

The service was excellent! The drinks were great. The soups were very good as well. We had the tortilla soup and white and bean soup. We expected a bit more flavor out of the shrimp and grits after hearing so much about the food there. We also were surprised that the salmon meal sauce was just mustard. We may have tried the wrong things there even though they’re known for seafood so maybe we’ll try another seafood option next time.
