Our server was awesome. She greeted us with a friendly and welcoming smile. We had the name your own omelet, which allows you to select up to 5 ingredients for $10.50. The omelet was cooked perfectly, and all the selected ingredients were high quality. We also had the eggs and pancakes breakfast. Unfortunately, the eggs were not hot when they came out, and the pancakes were overcooked and not very fluffy. I was a bit disappointed about the pancakes considering the name of the place. However, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to giving them another try.

Great breakfast foods. Great low prices. My entree came out wrong but they fixed it right away. The food did take awhile to come out which tells me its being made fresh which I appreciate. I think they do awesome breakfast foods and you should def try the french toast or pancakes.
Its a very laid back restaurant...looks bad from the outside but its very clean and beautifully decorated inside.

With so many pancake options, and endless combination possibilities, this is THE breakfast spot to eat at in SA. I was extremely excited to have these pancakes and hash browns... I felt like I was in heaven, and I'm not even a morning person. This place makes me one.
The place is lively and seats quite a good amount of people. It's a popular spot - You might have to wait to be seated, but only for a minute or two.

- Service is unbeatable. Everyone here acts like you're family.
- Vendors, street art, and other shops to walk to as well
- You'll probably need to park across the street.

Stopped by this breakfast spot after making a day trip through San Antonio. Food was delicious. Tried the Jalisco Omelette. Loved the beef fajitas in it. Definitely makes sense to see all the high praises from the reviews. Worth the visit!

We were looking for a good breakfast place to eat after my outpatient surgery and google sent us to Pancake Joe’s. Food was good, our server, Jacob, was super nice and attentive. My husband got the banana French toast with fruit on top, and I got the eggs Benedict with hash browns. We both enjoyed the food and service. Coffee was just ok but we didn’t go here for the coffee.

I was here a couple of years ago and the food still tastes amazing! The quality of their food is consistent and great! My husband loved the loaded hash browns!

Both times that I’ve been here it didn’t disappoint. French toast + was delicious. Crispy bacon. Pancakes are good. Good coffee. Went during the week and no wait time. Very friendly and attentive staff. My family loved it too!

Came here a few years ago and was impressed. Not disappointed this time as well. Unfortunately inflation seems to have hit this restaurant. It was a bit pricey for breakfast, but you get what you pay for. They definitely need to look over their furniture though and try to repair tables. Sorry about the food pictures being of plates that were partially eaten. Everyone just started eating lol.

Our server was awesome. The food was perfect for the price but nothing too special. They have food that isn't breakfast food if you arent into that kinda thing. I got the chicken wrap and was satisfied, tho it's a little weird that they put pecans in it. It's pretty quiet inside and lit dimly. Would probably go again someday.

To drink I got the watermelon lemonade, it was good. To eat I got the Hawaiian Sandwich. Here’s the thing with the sandwich it is very good! I mean it definitely has great taste to it. The bad side is that it’s pretty greasy. The bread has a little bit more oil than what I’ve seen from other places, so it did look a bit greasy. Like I said the sandwich is good, but the grease may make you feel a bit sluggish afterwards. I did get the fries as well, so that did contribute to that as well. They did taste good. Next time though, I’ll get the side of fruit instead of fries.

Came here for breakfast following our daughters tennis tourney at St. Mary’s and weren’t disappointed.
Banana Nut French Toast - French toast banana bread with fresh berries on top. It was delicious.
Banana Wrap French Toast - yummy. Our son didn’t care for the icing drizzle on top that can easily be remedied next time.
Peanut Butter Banana Pancakes - our daughter loved them & the extra protein from the peanut butter drizzle.
Joe’s Favorite - hubby said it was pretty good.
Prices were great, service as well, atmosphere was fun & music perfect for us 80’s, 90’s kids.
Will definitely be back when we are in town.

Love the food and atmosphere the only reason it's not a 5 was the service. There was alot of staff on hand and the restaurant was more than half empty but we had to get up and go to the counter to ask for napkins. They only brought one small container of syrup for a table of 4 who all ordered pancakes and waffles....we finished the small bottle. The server never refilled it, nor refilled my coffee and never came around so I could ask, not sure if she was the only actual wait staff but there were several walking around and 2 folding napkins and 2 at the host stand.

Great tasting food overall! My food was slightly cold because I think it was waiting on other dishes. The kids decided to do dessert breakfast and enjoyed it.
