Battalion - San Antonio - Photo album

The side dish of roasted carrots was the highlight of my meal! Order these carrots!!! The portions are a bit small since they planned for guests to order from each section of the menu. The meatballs were pretty good, a bit on the dry side but really good flavor. There is outdoor seating but it was c
Not happy about the parking and the paid parking area is expensive. Wish they had a better selection for alcohol. The food is absolutely delicious though! The bread and garlic olive oil is amazing! The spinach dumplings and lamb chops as well. The chicken Parmesan was okay, lacking in flavor. Brusse
This past Sunday was my mothers birthday and she wanted Italian food for dinner. We decided to go to Battalion, located in a restored firehouse in downtown San Antonio. This restaurant offers a menu built of family style Italian dishes and awesome cocktails. We shared 2 appetizers, 2 pasta dishes an
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a delightful dining experience at Battalion Italian Restaurant in San Antonio! My colleagues and I were in town for a conference and had the pleasure of enjoying a meal here. The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was just the right blend of cool and cozy. But what truly st
Great food in a fun atmosphere! We had the most enjoyable group dinner here. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. My favorite with a pistachio dessert that was so decadent! I will definitely be back!
I love coming here.. Pricey but delicious.. The waiter was great. The place is beautiful and romantic at night time. Great place to have a nice dinner. Amazing drinks too..
Why oh why did I not come here sooner? It’s been on the list and we finally made it for dinner. Sat at the bar and took the bartender’s advice on a few dishes. They did not disappoint. Excellent food, cocktails and service. And do NOT pass on the spinach dumplings. Wow.
My husband and I walked into this bar for a Friday night date and it did not disappoint. We walked and were immediately greeted by the hostess and asked if we had a reservation (we were not here to eat, so we asked if we could just sit at the bar). Then, we met Alex, the bartender. Alex was so great
Great service by everyone there. They attended to us regularly. We had a very good experience. Location has a decent view of downtown and we liked the ambience.
Capturing the essence of la dolce vita at Battalion, where classic meets contemporary. Pasta and martinis makes for the perfect date night.
🔥Great Atmosphere, Food, and Presentation🔥 Of all the restaurants I tried in San Antonio, the Battalion was among my favorite. My entire group agreed the food tasted amazing and the unique atmosphere stood out. The Battalion is built inside of an old fire station, reconverted into a restaurant and
The hostess was friendly and greeted us upon arrival. The restaurant itself was sophisticated while relaxing at the same time. We loved the way the menu was laid out. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helped us order just what we needed. The bread was great. We followed it up with what are without a
This was our first time here. Waiter and staff were super knowledgeable. Food was excellent. I had the wine and it was exceptional. The mixed drinks the others had were also good. The salads are a good choice. I had the steak and for an Italian place it was very good. The restaurant is in an
Really expected a bit more here. Great meal and drink names that are fire department related. The service was a little slow. Drinks came out fast but food was very slow. For a place as pricey as this I would expect good service. Some of our meals were on the table and we had to alert our waiter that
We loved the ambiance and service at this restored firehouse turned Italian restaurant. Everything from the bread service and appetizers to drinks and homemade pasta were great. As an added bonus, the area overlooks downtown San Antonio and the Tower of the Americas.
The shrimp was really good and flavorful for its low price. The Parmesan crusted lamb chops is a must try, it was our favorite. But the tiramisu and carbonara was definitely lacking in flavor.
