I moved here from tennessee almost 4 years ago..i just tried the Amarillo burger and it's the best burger I've had since I've lived here! Soooo good! You guys are now my favorite burger spot!
Best cheesesteak around. My family loves to grab dinner here. The fries are to die for & service is quick. Love me some Lonestar!!!
Every cheesesteak I ever got was quick, hot and great. Today however, somebody miscalculated and put either pepper jack or some kind of hot pepper on our cheese steaks. Ummm, thanks but would like to choose if I want it spicy. It still was a great cheesesteak but I ran out of drink before i ran out of burn! lol give a gal a warning!
Love love love the burgers! Omg. If you haven't already eaten here, then you're missing out! Everytime we come here, no matter we order, we devour our food. And don't even get me started on the fries...what!!! They are AMAZING!!! My kids usually eat the fries first and then the burger. Just amazing. Keep up the good work! You have a customer for life.
I would say these burgers are some of the absolute best burgers in town. Made fresh and served to order. None of that prepackaged burger patties, all fresh.
The salad was amazing. Very flavorful and packed full of meats, cheeses, and fresh veggies. The burgers are seasoned well and full of great sauces, veggies, and cheese. Highly recommended it to everyone.

I was very skeptical... But the other reviewers are absolutely right. Excellent, fresh cheeseburger served with a smile even though I gave special instructions. Seasoned fries were wonderful. Just be careful getting into the parking area. The entrance area is not clearly marked and it is easy to go over a curb instead especially when it is dark and other cars are parked poorly.
Lone Star cheeseburger is by far one of the best places to get cheeseburgers but for me personally I am addicted to their chili cheese fries. On this outing, I tried deep fried cheesecake and there are no words to adequately describe the experience that I had eating that fried cheesecake. You can get it with strawberry sauce or chocolate sauce I, being me, had to be different and got both strawberry and chocolate sauce. Let's just say that my first two bites the experience was equivalent to " Houston we have liftoff!! ". Way to go Lonestar Cheeseburger Co.. Keep up the phenomenal work.
Meh. It's OK. I got grilled chicken and green beans and rice. Rice was boxed instant rice, onions were burned. Chicken was perfect!
The people I was with said burger was just ok.
Someone else had turkey burger. They liked it.

A must stop, you won't be disappointed! Fast and friendly service and delicious food, onion rings were excellent as well as the mushroom burger! If we're ever back in San Angelo we'll make this a definite stop!
We visited 2/21/20 on a cool Friday night at sunset. The staff was friendly and welcoming and when they saw that we were going to stay and eat outside, they thoughtfully turned on one of the patio heaters for us, making us warm and toasty in no time. There were many interesting burger choices! The fries were heavily seasoned and delicious. Situated right on a busy corner in downtown San Angelo, Lonestar is on Hwy 87, near other highways and businesses and a few hotels. We will definitely eat here again.
