Best tacos Al Pastor I have ever had! Better than the ones i ate down in Cancun about 2 weeks ago! After i got back from Cancun, i was craving tacos al pastor, so I went to several different restaurants to try and find the most authentic. First I went to Chunga's in SLC and they were decent, I did not think they were very authentic though. They put a weird sauce on them that ruins the taste of the meat. These are the best tacos Al Pastor in SLC. Go get some!!!

If I moved to a moon colony, I would journey back to Earth simply for the food at this place. No lie, no exaggeration.

Searching for a taco spot and tried this one for the first time today with my son. Have to go through the grocery store to find it tucked away. Ordered #2 is a 10 mini street tacos combo for $15.99. We got 5 asada and 5 al pastor- can’t have tacos without a Coke in a glass bottle- absolute must! We ate in and is served in a personal preference style with all fixings on the side for you to top it the way you like. Diced onions, cilantro, quartered lime, red AND green salsas and a side of salt. About as close to south of the border taste that I’ve had on this side. Gracias!

This place is on my short list. Delicious food. Great for a quick lunch during the work day. My current favorite al pastor in the valley. I usually get a torta, and it's delicious. One thing though, of late, they have been going a little lighter on the meat in the sandwich than say, 6 months ago (second pic shows what I mean). But damn is it good. If you like al pastor, and have not been here, give it a shot, it's legit.

So far the best al pastor tortas I had in Salt Lake City limits. They accept credit cards but for tips bring some cash! Google maps shows like shopping center but you need to get into mall to find that place, and it’s called Latino Mall and the entrance is at east side of the building.

This is by far the best Mexican food in West Valley! The food is amazing and the price is great too. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food made with the freshest ingredients, you should definitely check this place out, but brush up on your Spanish before you order! My favorite are the tacos al pastor and the chorizo tacos. Don't be fooled by their small size. They are quite filling. They also serve an amazing, fresh squeezed orange juice. While the restaurant tends to get pretty busy at lunch tine, I would still recommend this restaurant as a great place for a quick lunch.

Seriously some of the best street tacos I've ever had. The El Pastor was incredible, and the chorizo was fantastic as well.

Welp, my search for the best Al Pastor taco in the city has ended. El Morelense is hands down the best I've had... maybe ever. The salsas are amazing as well. I can't believe I've wasted so much time not eating at this place. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. I tried the al pastor, lengua and the campechano. Campechano was very very good as well. I'm going to have dreams about these tacos!

Fantastic al pastor tacos complete with generous slices of pineapple that is just ripe. Double tortilla, nice portion of meat and tasty salsa bar with fresh limes and cilantro. Been here several times and it’s always been a great experience and never had a complaint about the service. Located on the east side of the Latino Mall and always busy when I’ve gone. And always a good mix of paisas and gringos so you know it’s legit.

Came through during work and called ahead and these guys had our tacos ready, ate them there. Got some asada, some pastor...etc even some lingua. They have all the likes and sauces available and a lot of drinks. Red sauce was spicy too def check it out

Just ate at the new South Jordan location. They have an awesome variety of menu items, which makes it difficult to pick something because everything looks so good! I ended up ordering the campechano tacos and the Pastor con Queso y Piña. The campechano taco was really great, easily the best quality chorizo I have ever had. The Pastor con Queso was very good as well. Additionally, the portions and price are both extremely fair. I highly recommend El Morelense to anyone in search of high quality Mexican food!
