Conveniently located inside of the Marmalade Branch of the Salt Lake City Public Library, Moka is a great place to go whenever I want good coffee, a conversation with the (very friendly) baristas there, and a relaxed environment to read a book. Besides coffee, they have some quality hot chocolate, as well as a uniquely delicious chai latte. I admire Liz very much for all that she does in the coffee and chocolate communities. I've had many excellent experiences here.
If you're looking to get gourmet (or artisan, or European, or... yeah, you get the idea) hot chocolate in Salt Lake City that _really_ tastes like chocolate, stop in at Moka and get the European drinking chocolate. It's basically a Solstice chocolate bar melted down and mixed with some milk or cream. It's always much tastier than it has any business being. The staff is all very friendly here, and the library itself, which Moka resides in, is very nice.
I absolutely love Moka. It quickly became my favorite neighborhood coffee shop. The Batista's are so sweet and incredibly knowledgeable about all of their coffee drinks and the amazing local chocolates they carry. I recommend the European Style Drinking Chocolate, it is the ultimate Hug-in-a-Mug. A bonus is their walk up window, where I frequently walk my dog for a treat for myself and some love and a cookie for my pooch.
Severely underrated shop in the library. Their cappuccino has never let me down, and the atmosphere is unrushed and relaxing. A good place for studying or just popping by the walk-up on an afternoon stroll
Liz is the best thing to happen to coffee and chocolate in SLC and is slowly getting the word out about what SLC has to offer. Great little shop in the newest library in SLC. Very open with lots of natural light, outlets and wifi. Just wish it were open on Sunday!
A local coffee shop inside the Marmalade Library. They especialize in gourmet coffee, tea and chocolate. I would recommend their dark chocolate drink, it's very delicious!
Amazing coffee, convenient walk up window, delicious pastries (my favorite is the apple muffin), and Liz is there often (she is so sweet)! I highly recommend this place.
The best coffee in town. Try the iced Mocha, they even mix there chocolate sauce from dark high quality chocolate.
I just got a ordered a hot chocolate, but it was delicious. They put a lot of care into it. And it was only $1!
Great place to work remotely and get an excellent coffee drink. I always get the Mocha, it's perfect
