Review Millcreek Coffee Roasters - Salt Lake City

Hit this spot for the first time today for a dirty chai latte and it was a great experience. Super conveniently located next to the Trax stop. The staff were polite and personable. Enjoyed warehouse ish vibe as decor too!

Cool, funky, welcoming roastery with great breakfast choices. Comfortable, clean welcoming place with knowledgeable/helpful staff who smile and are very efficient (which means quick service). I love when you get your coffee before your food so you can relax and start to enjoy. Super fresh ingredients on my breakfast bagel. I was trying to decide between the avocado toast and lox so they suggested putting it together which was perfect! Plus, there is adjacent parking. Great start to my day!

Great place to get coffee and more - love their avocado toast!

Excellent place for coffee, tea, hot cocoa and the like with great food in an open and friendly atmosphere. The staff feels like friends and the coffee is excellent. I got a breakfast croissant with egg, cheddar and bacon. It was delicious and my son got a tan mocha which is his usual. They have a reward program for frequent customers and they remember you which gives it the family and friends feel. If you're going to that chain with second rate coffee do yourself a favor and go to Millcreek Coffee. Great location downtown on Main. It's easier to get to the parking lot coming from the south because of Trax.

Coffee was just right. Not too strong of syrup flavors and not too sweet. The bagel breakfast sandwiches are hefty and delicious.

The BEST place to get your beans if you’re a coffee nerd. Always has great variety, but keeps a few regular beans around for consistency. Beans are always well-roasted and the roast date is clearly marked so you know you’re getting them fresh

Decent place for a coffee and breakfast. Good place to sit and sip a coffee either indoor or outdoor. Taste is good but nothing as so special. Tried their toast, croissant and they are decent.

I love the environment and that they have outdoor seating. The baristas are so kind, too! Good coffee drinks- though I'd recommend adding an extra shot to your lattes, because only their 20oz is a double. The coffee is delicious-- I definitely need to buy a bag of their whole bean! Their food is also delicious, but don't order it if you're in a rush, as it's all made to order and it might take 15minutes or so before you eat. But the fresh ingredients and tasty bagel sandwiches are worth the wait if you have the time!

Good coffee (especially the cold brew) and good prices. The food is actually good enough to be lunch instead of being an afterthought like at other cafes. Quick service but can sometimes be loud when they’re actually roasting coffee in the room with you.

Great Coffee! I had a cortado, and it was smooth, rounded, and overall excellent. You can tell they put some work into perfecting their beans. In fact, I could see them in the back roasting, tasting, and perfecting their most recent batch while I was there! I forgot to take pictures before tasting it, so the cup doesn't look as full as it was....

This is a nice (simple) place with good coffee, good food, good staff, and good customers. Food: I had a danish (just so-so, very “meh”), and a breakfast Asiago bagel with Turkey and goat cheese — VERY GOOD. The bagel is why food got 5*, in spite of the danish. $15+tip (big city location = big city price) Service: Super nice staff, but the kitchen may have been behind, because it was slower than expected. Still, bagel came out steaming hot. Atmosphere: The decor is a version of Sparse Auto Tire Shop with No Tires, But With a Kitchen. Naked concrete floor, seating was plentiful, and even had some nice metal cafe tables outside. Glad I found this place and, I’ll be back on my next visit to SLC, for sure.

I went on 06/25/2023, the man who made my veggie bagel perfected the art of it. The seasoning was perfect and the ingredients were fresh. I also went on 06/20/2023 and the lady who made my garden salad looked so dedicated while making it. The lady with black hair who is at checkout and makes coffee is so chilled and brings calmness to my morning. I would hope the owner could kindly recognize these people, the backbone of a successful cafe. Weldone!

I stop here at least one day most weeks to transfer from the red line to blue and take advantage of getting coffee while I wait. The staff is great, very friendly, and usually very fast even when it's busy! Love the coffee and the food

Very cute wee joint! Stopped in for a fat bit while my car was gettin’ waxed next door at Signature Detailing… they had vegan AND gluten free options, AND unsweetened Matcha latte! All staff is nice and very patient. 10/10 recommend (:

One of the oldest coffee roasters in Salt Lake City, this is a legit coffee shop with some great offerings. As soon as you enter, the smell of fresh roast coffee going on at the back of the shop greets you. The baristas/servers are very friendly and this place feels very welcoming. The accessibility of the place in downtown is an added advantage with its own parking.

By far, the best coffee shop in SLC! The staff was efficient, warm and very welcoming. You feel like you are in the comfort of your own home, but getting to eat/drink the most egg-cellent fare!! *Liz is the most-friendly barista, went above-and-beyond*

Some of the best coffee I ever had. If you find yourself in Utah, Salt Lake City I highly suggest you stop by and grab yourself a cup or two!!

5555 stars all around!! Love Millcreek. Can't find any other coffee place better. If your going to get a good coffee who better to trust then the people that roast it, right behind their little station.

The Society of Vertebrate Paleontology just had our annual meeting at the Grand America to the north. As an attendee I was worried I was not going to get my morning fix. Fortunately, Millcreek was there to save the day and keep me awake and focused on symposia with tasty lattes. Oh, by the way, we paleo folks use burlap strips soaked in plaster to protect and stabilize fossils before removing them from the ground, so I was very tempted to swipe the whole pile of free burlap sacks that you place out for grabs. Be well and if I am ever in Salt Lake again I will know where to go for my latte.

I love their commitment to providing the freshest coffee available. In addition, their approach to bringing coffee directly from the source add character to every bag I get.

Visiting from out of town and had to flee the poor WiFi at my hotel...stumbled upon this place, great coffee, awesome space, friendly vibe...and lighting fast WiFi. If I lived in SLC I’d be a regular for sure.

Delicious and not mainstream :) I enjoyed the atmosphere and delicious coffee & chocolate!

They have Arabic COFFFEE, with different levels of roasting.
Jordan Dixon
Delicious coffee and great service. I bought a pound of beans and I will be coming back for more!

Great coffee and close to the TRAX and Sears. They are equipped with Wi fi, couches with ready lamps and friendly service.
Peggy Lou Jensen
Best coffee around! Roasted right on the premises so it is fresh. Always our Saturday morning morning stop.
Leslie Fella
Amazing coffee, service and atmosphere! The French brew that was recommended by the barista was fantastic, and the other employees back behind grinding fresh beans were friendly. After I was given the thumbs up to snap a few pics of the operation and HUGE bags of coffee beans, I was also invited to take a closer look at their operations which is most impressive. A short walk (half block) from The Grand Hotel - it's a SLC gem!

Love Millcreek! Wish I was in SLC more often. But it is my dad's favorite place so that's where we go when I visit!
