Rio Grande Cafe - Salt Lake City - Photo album

This is my first time at the new location. I have been coming to the old location for decades. My family and I have always enjoyed this place. The food this time was just like I remembered. Always great quality definitely will come back again. Very clean and fun place. The staff is very friendly and
We stopped here after flying in to Salt Lake City while on our way to Moab. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We ordered the Two Taco Plate w/ black beans (vegan style), a Chicken Enchilada Dinner, Beef Chimichanga w/beans & rice and a side of queso. We all found our meals to be tasty and th
I really enjoyed this dining experience. The carnitas were tasty. I enjoyed the beverage I ordered but could have done without the tajin in the drink. The service was great. The vibe and atmosphere was fun. I would definitely come back and I recommend that you try.
This was my first visit at the new location. It was nice and comfortable. Where was the Taco Lady? I thought they would bring in the move. What happened to the iconic Juke Box, I didnt see that either. The food was the same as I remember, excellent. The salsa is so fresh and tasty!
The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and professional. The whole experience was delightful. I will definitely go there again!
Ashley is by far the best sever EVER! She is she kind and accommodating if you get the chance you have her s as your sever, count your self as LUCKY 🍀 or just ask for her. 😃 We had grilled chicken enchiladas with the Colorado sauce is my favorite, But the nachos hold a special place in my heart ❤️
I ate here for the first time today. The food was fantastic! I got a shredded chicken Taco and shredded beef tostada. Both were really good. My server, Cassandra, was awesome and kept my soda refilled the whole time. The location and inside environment was really cool too. Definitely a good spo
Great place. Food is always good. Tonight I had the halibut tacos which came with a delicious sauce. I typically get the relleno which is among the best I’ve ever had. It’s a large restaurant so seating is normally pretty easy. The server was very friendly and perfectly attentive.
This is a great location—we loved the ambiance, the service and the appetizers! The salsa was delicious and so were the chips. I liked my entree too but I would try something different next time. I had the Sante Fe Enchiladas with shredded beef. We had a really good time and I would recommend givin
The shredded pork enchilada was delicious covered in sauce and cheese. The shredded pork tamale dish was delicious but needed to be smothered in sauce more like the enchilada was. It was a little dry. It's a really nice clean restaurant inside with good attentive service and atmosphere. I'll be back
We really liked this place. Second time here. Nice location, drinks, and great food. Ayden our server was fantastic. Came in to drink, snack, and watch the Utes trample UCLA. He was very attentive and kept making sure we were taken care of. Taco Loco was VERY good. Will definitely be back.
Love the atmosphere and the food. Our server Haley was great and so kind. We all had good food and good company. The queso and guacamole is amazing.
Beautiful building that is nicely decorated in a cheerful way. The chips and salsa, pork chimichanga and vegetable enchiladas were all very good. The service was good too.
The Rio Grande Cafe continues to be one of the best spots for Mexican American cuisine. The atmosphere is amazing in the old renovated fire house. The owner retained many of the historic features of the building, making it a one of a kind atmosphere inside and out.
Nathan was so so sweet and the best waiter. It was my 21st birthday and it was great. The only reason I rate 4 stars was because we were waiting for about an hour for our order to be taken, but Nate was amazing!
Just incredibly good. As displaced Texans/Oklahomans, we had a go-to Tex-Mex spot way up in Ogden. Rio Grande Cafe has taken its place. It is so well executed, Rio Grande Cafe would thrive in San Antonio or Austin. Try the steak quesadilla. Highest possible recommendation.
