Excellent dining experience. Come here to enjoy an Italian dining experience. The Service, atmosphere, wine selection and food are all top notch. If you are looking to blast through a meal this is not the place. If you are looking to sit back and enjoy everything Veneto has to offer come check it out, set aside a few hours sit back and have fun. You will not be disappointed

Unbelievable service. Like the best fine dining experience I’ve ever had. Truly an incredible experience. The owner himself came over to our table, talked about the dishes he curated, and the thought behind them. Absolutely amazing experience. The best food I’ve ever had. We’ve gone here again and again and it never disappoints, or lets down. It’s a very intimate restaurant, tables and space are limited, which makes the atmosphere even better. I’ve traveled all over the world (Dubai to london) and my husband is from NYC, and together we make a point of planning entire vacations around restaurants and food experiences, and trust me when I say, this place belongs in NYC, Paris, or some other food capital of the world. It’s personal, timeless and very high end, something done best in small scale. Instead of scaling up and having to sacrifice quality for turnover, they keep the seats limited and numbers down. We’ve celebrated most of our biggest life events here since discovering it, and recommend it over any other fine restaurant in Utah to everyone we know. Skip Ruth’s Chris, Valters, and even Le Caille, this restaurant puts all others in Utah to shame. youre getting a high end New York experience, or an authentic world class Italian experience without the travel!

From the small snack to stimulate your pallet to folding your napkin when you get up and making sure the bathroom is always like you’re the first to use it- they don’t miss a beat. I love the gnocchi and the wine selection is incredible. One con is the last time we were there, the steak was very bland and tough.

I've been 3 times, and I will go back again many times. There is none other like it in SLC. The flavor, recommendations, and even the way they plate the food demonstrate a serious dedication to their craft and hospitality. Veneto, the food, the staff, and Amy are all unbelievable. They helped me schedule and reserve a last minute dinner for my 40th.

Simply a great overall experience. Dining here felt like visiting an old friend in Italy. The food was absolutely incredible. Each dish and every flavor was on point. My wife and I had several courses of gnocchi, polenta, and Spaghetti, finished with the Black Angus sirloin and tomahawk ribeye. The piedmontese tomahawk was simply the best steak I've ever had: cooked perfectly and presented with a small dish of salt on the side as all good steaks should. The service was impeccable and really contributed to the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and personable. Highly recommended. The next time I visit, I'll be enjoying the full tasting menu selection.

The absolute best food I’ve ever ate in the state of Utah. I’m not one to leave a review but felt the need to go out of my way. This is a dining experience if I’ve ever had one. From staff to owner. The fact that this is true Italian/European dining is perfect. The gnocci is divine, the cheese, the desserts. Thank you very much.

Truly the only authentic Italian restaurant in Utah. Marco and Amy have dedicated so much of their life from the curations of unique pieces of art and furniture to each fine wine on the expansive wine list that will blow your mind. The food is beyond amazing with traditional dishes and seasonal creations. The atmosphere, ambience, and service is top tier. If you have the chance, I highly recommend dining here.

Attended a private wine tasting/appetizer event here. The service, food, and wine were all absolutely delightful. Various curated authentic Italian dishes, the wines were amazing, and the information shared during the tasting was interesting and fun. Overall, amazing experience. Can not wait to go back.

I worked in fine dining for many years, and I was blown away with the service, food and atmosphere at Veneto SLC. I thought we made a reservation for my partner's birthday, but noticed I must've forgot to press the confirm button when we showed up. They fit us right in. Our server, Alex, was knowledgable, attentive and kind. We enjoyed every part of our four course meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone celebrating any occasion, we will certainly be back!

My girlfriend and I went to Veneto for the second time last night, and it was the best culinary experience we've had in Salt Lake City. I only gave 4/5 stars for "atmosphere" just because there isn't anything remarkable about the building or location, but they really make the best of what they have, and sitting inside is extremely quant with exposed wooden ceiling rafters and assorted wine crates for a white table cloth experience with tastefully-chosen glassware and silverware. Everything we ate last night was incredible. We were given a complimentary warm small cup of soup that was a great appetizer, and especially warm and cozy as the weather is turning cold. Next, we split the beef tar tar and the polenta with assorted soft cheeses, both of which were delicious, but the subsequent courses were what stood out exceptionally. The first time we went to Veneto, we didn't really go "all out" and just got a couple of pasta dishes, but we had the same server (I wish I remembered his name), and I recalled him recommending the gnocchi with sage and the tomahawk, so we ordered each of those with a side of the special risotto with fresh, shaved black truffle. The gnocchi was rich, delicious, and the sage really complimented the dish (it was so tasty, we were soaking up every last drop of the sauce with some bread on the table). I'm going to give the tomahawk its own little paragraph here because we eat a lot of steak and it is really rare for us to be impressed by a steak. We occasionally import wagyu from Japan, source our own American black angus from purveyors like Braveheart, and have been to a lot of the renowned steak places in cities like Chicago, NYC, LA, Florence/Tuscany, and usually find them to be overhyped. This tomahawk from Veneto was really remarkable and is the best steak I've had in a long time. I'm not sure how I can really do the tomahawk justice beyond just insisting someone try it for themselves. I'm a huge steak enthusiast, and I'm excited to come back to Veneto for that tomahawk and to bring family and friends along. We really love spoiling ourselves with good food and have been regularly getting let down by the restaurants we'd been visiting in SLC, but Veneto really is a phenomenal restaurant that is doing everything perfectly. The wines we had were phenomenal, and the service is incredible and I really wish I could thank our server by name (since it is our second time being helped by him). We'll definitely be back and are looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

Can't recommend this place enough! It's an Italian treasure in Salt Lake City by Marco & Amy Stevanoni! 👏🏻 Would highly recommend going through the 7 course tasting menu! Fresh seasonal ingredients and my favorite from my visit in the spring was the duck ragu bigoli pasta, the meat tartare and the amazing homemade apricot tart 😋 Go try it! Perfect for a date with your lover! ❤️

I forgot to post a review after my dinner here for Christmas Eve! The service, atmosphere, and food was impeccable! We were greeted warmly upon entry. The palate starter was delicious and got us ready for our meal. Our server was polite and friendly. The sommelier assisted us with wine pairings and was forthright with me about their white wines all having a dry finish. (I am a dessert wine lover) The staff were even so kind as to help my wife's mother out to the car amidst the snow and ice. We really appreciated the hospitality that was shown to us.

WOW! VENETO raises the bar for Italian restaurants in Salt Lake City. In an area with more Italian restaurants than gas stations VENETO manages to stand out as an amazing and one-of-a-kind experience, and that's no simple feat. Every aspect of the dining experience is simply amazing from the service to the presentation and most importantly the food & wine. If you're already an Italian wine & food expert you'll appreciate the authenticity and talent clearly present in all of their dishes. If, like me, you are rather new to fine Italian dining and wine you'll surely appreciate their staff who is extremely knowledgeable. We were here for 3 hours and it still felt like time was flying by simply because we were enjoying ourselves so much. If VENETO fits in to your budget, go, I promise you won't regret it.

The food and wine was excellent. Very well paced meal. They want you to enjoy your meal. Authentic Italian food and wine. Great recommendation on both. My new special occasion place to go.

An oasis that brought us back to the Italian flavors and tastes, real and authentic!! Marco selects his products meticulously with great expertise and each dish is studied carefully. The wine list is almost unlimited. By two Italians on the road. Fully recommended!

Since SLC has rated Olive Garden a 4.4 it seems crazy that this is only a 4.5. This truly is the best authentic Italian restaurant in Utah. And I would be surprised if any restaurant in Utah has a wine list that rivals this place. From DRC to Masseto, any wine enthusiast will find a great bottle. Veneto is a fantastic restaurant.

The meal was delicious and each dish had some level of complexity. The staff was super friendly and helpful in helping us decide on dishes. We ordered the tartare, pecorino ravioli, gnocchi, and red snapper and each dish was delicious. The plates were decently sized so think twice before ordering each course for each person - unless you're really hungry.

Had an excellent experience at Veneto a few weeks ago. Honestly before going here we thought, great another Italian restaurant in SLC. Our go to place is Valter's and Veneto is actually very different. I can now see a need for a place like this. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our table. We were offered Prosecco while we waited, a very nice touch. The beef tartar was delicious and a great appetizer to start the meal. I had the homemade bigoli pasta with duck ragú, one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Light, but filling with immense flavor! We split the tagliata di manzo...get it! Great piece of steak with an Italian flavor. We are very picky about our steaks and this one did not disappoint. This is not a steak house and will never beat a steak from the south, but that's not what they are going for. Very unique and cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed our experience. The service was top notch. The best part was the owner Amy. She made us feel very welcomed and we loved chatting with her throughout our meal. Bravo!

Went on a whim and was lucky enough to get a table (I recommend getting a reservation now that I know it's very cozy and not a huge place)... That being said this place is amazing!.. Be warned it's not cheap, but if you want cheap go to Olive Garden. It was worth every penny and then some though. The service was excellent and staff very knowledgeable, friendly and professional... But the food!... OMG the food was amazing!... Everything from the appetizer all the way through to dessert left me wanting to lick the plate clean! Their wine selection is great too ... GO!... ENJOY!... you won't be disappointed I assure you

My wife and I have had many wonderful evenings at Veneto since they opened last year, including last night. We called last minute and asked for a table and we were lucky to get one of the last two that they had available, and it was on the outdoor patio, which is itself a very nice touch to an evening of fine dining. We have had many of the wonderful dishes they have brought from Veneto, including the spectacular dry aged beef, but last night tried some new ones. The risotto with Strawberries was scrumptious, the filet in pepper cream sauce melted in our mouths, and the polenta with mushrooms, truffles, and sliced sautéed beats was just delightful! We finished it off with the chocolate mousse which was the perfect way to drink the last drop of the Bussola Amerone that is one of our favorite wines. To sum up our evaluation of Veneto we would say it is perfectly in line with what everyone wants today in their dining experiences, Authenticity and Quality, with the warm and friendly touch of the owners felt throughout the entire experience. We have been very fortunate to get to know Marco and Amy well and are so grateful for their friendship and the new jewel they have added to the crown of Utah Fine Dining establishments!

It was amazing! So much attention to detail and a unique dining experience. We had a show to catch afterwords and unfortunately had to rush the dinner a bit. We shared a bottle of wine recommended by our server. We will most definitely be back again.

Highly recommend the prosecco, Creminelli meat platter, and the pastas are amazing with the right amount of sauce and al dente. The desserts are definitely worth exploring! Perfecto!

I had the best experience at VENETO. Marco and Amy are the owners, and married. This is real Northern Italian food, prepared by Marco, who grew up in Verona, Italy. Different than every other Italian restaurant in Salt Lake City, the food and service are truly authentic. Katie was an amazing hostess, and Amy gave the whole experience a special touch, as she sat down with me and shared her passion and some personal stories about VENETO. The atmosphere was artistic, inviting, and so enjoyable. The food was amazing, the wine was superb, and I was in heaven. Definitely a 5 star experience!

I ordered the pear ravioli and the espresso over marscopone & cookies. Our server Seth was helpful and sweet. The owner Marco kept an eye on the dining room. They are attempting the European trend of no tipping, which is refreshing! I plan to go back when I have more time to stay!

Amazing atmosphere- intimate- beautiful - amazing unique wine - delicious hand crafted food! A total delight!!

Outstanding service and very well prepared and delicious food. Try the polenta as well as the Linguini Carbonara. Reminded me of dining in Verona. Highly recommended!

The owners of Veneto Marco and Amy are very passionate about serving fine food and fine wine you will not be disappointed.
