Great cafe spot with a really strong brunch and lunch menu. Have sat outside both times and it's a great setting. In the summer it can get pretty hot but it's well shaded and usually super comfortable. Wait can be pretty long but there is a great novelties store next door that is an awesome way to pass the time as you wait to be seated.

The travelers omelette was very good with the veggie sausage and the cottage bacon was a nice twist on the eggs Benedict.
Portions are generous, it would be hard to leave here hungry.
Only gripe was the house potatoes could have been a lot crispier but overall everything was great.

Oh man! So good! Came in for a light breakfast. I had their daily pancake, which was an apple Cinnamon something, and a sausage side. Both were amazing! The place is super cute. Staff were all friendly, and the prices were perfect for the quality and portion. Pancake was HUGE. Absolutely recommend to anyone in the area!

Everything I've ever gotten from Roots is always delicious. My new favorite is the Roots Biscuits and Gravy. So many layers of yummy flavors! Everyone was super nice too. I love sitting on their patio.

I had the spicy porto sandwich with a green salad. It was delicious! My husband had the eggs benni with all the extras. He really liked it. Everyone in our group thought their food was great! We want to go back to try other items on the menu.

Loved this cute cafe. Great options for gluten free, vegan, and allergens. But all in a shared kitchen. They are great about checking ingredients and have lots of healthy items and comfort foods. Note that it's quite small so you will have to wait. The cute boutique next door is the perfect place to shop while waiting for your table.

It's a bit of a drive up the canyon but it's probably top 3 breakfast spots in Utah.
Their Pancake of the Day is excellent and they have two sizes to choose from. The half is normal sized and the regular is massive. The real maple syrup is also delicious.
The biscuits and gravy were amazing as well. It's a vegetarian gravy, which I was apprehensive about, but it was savory and delicious. You also get a protein and eggs so it's a good sized portion.
Their fresh-squeezed juices are also amazing so don't miss out!

This place is very cute and connected directly to a vintage store, which I loved checking out after eating. The food was delicious, and the staff was great except for at the end. Our waiter kept coming by other tables directly next to us but never to us, so we had to go get our check and to go boxes at the cash register. I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he was planning on coming by soon. The only problem I have with this place is that it’s always packed, but that just shows that it’s highly enjoyed by many people!

Okay so we went there on a Sunday morning and we had a 40-minute wait. The good news was that we brought our dog and that was fun. We also asked for a cup of coffee and strolled around and went and looked at the art gallery and they said they would just text us, so you don't have to really hang out waiting. I had chicken enchiladas and my son had a Utah burger and our friend had a garden omelette. The Utah Burger was quite amazing as it had a fried egg on top but my son had to ask for lettuce and tomatoes and they forgot to put the pico de gallo on the chicken enchilada but I told the waiter and he came back with some really delicious salsa for the chicken enchilada. The burger was grass fed beef and delicious. The waiter was very down to earth, not pretentious and very helpful. There were subwaiters who served the dishes and brought ice cold water. The garnish and ambiance was very special. The coffee was served ver hot with real half and half cream and was hearty French brew. Fortunately the dog was certainly happy the way they brought the dog a bowl of water and it was very nice breakfast, There were a few flies around but it wasn't too bad and we were in a really nice Shady spot.

The food was great, the service on the other hand was lacking. First they gave us a dirty drinking glass, then they came to the table once, but once the check was atbour table they came several times, guys they think it is a fast food place and do not want you to sit and enjoy your meal. I would go back for the food, but the people who work there need lessons in customer service.

This is truly one of those hole-in-the-wall places. If I had not been invited by a friend I would have driven by not giving it a second look. The food, juices and sweets were fantastic. I wish I had known about this hidden gem when I lived in Salt Lake. Now it's just another great reason to return and visit.

I have worked in kitchens as a cook, and would consider myself a breakfast connoisseur. The breakfast sandwich here is the best I have ever had (not including fried chicken sandwiches which are in their own category) ever. I don't say that lightly either. With proper cooking and seasoning they have created something that doesn't need (or have) a sauce to blow your tastebuds away. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you drove or stayed near by and didn't come in for breakfast. Seriously.
