Yummy Middle Eastern cusine. The food here is super tasty. Everything we ate was fresh and flavorful. Try the Baba Ganooj & Pita appetizer. The smokey eggplant flavor is delicious. A great choice for entree is the sampler platter - anything from the appetizer, salad, and soup section 3 for $12. The red lentil soup and the spinach and lentil soup were both great, as was the house salad (comes with greens, cucumbers, olives, feta and pita chips), the vine leaves and the Muhammara & lettuce leaves. House red wine $8 glass. Nice venue, good service. Free street parking outside. Would happily recommend this place.
If you are feeling like great Lebanese food this place is amazing. The fattouch hummus and chicken kabab were great and they also have mana2ish. If I come again to Salt Lake City I’m definitely trying this place again.
I've been going to Mazza, albeit infrequently due to my distance, for over 10 years. Ali runs an incredible Mediterranean joint with ambiance and flavor.
Pita bread and hummus are a must, and any of the lamb dishes are savory. Staff is great, especially Destiny, but there's usually a wait here due to popularity.
This is certainly the place to go for excellent, authentic middle eastern cuisine, and some fusion options. I thought the cauliflower and mushroom Kabesh was the best I've had in Utah. Definitely going back to try everything on their menu.
The food was excellent. We booked in advance and they had everything ready for us. We enjoyed some started starters ( highly recommend the grape leaves!). There was plenty of food no matter what entrée was ordered. I will be going back here!
The drink was great. The kabob was great. The service was the best. Some of the other food was a bit bland.

Wonderful food. It's a great middle eastern atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.
This place was recommended to me by a co-worker! I had never had Middle Eastern food before so I thought it would be a good lunch date with my significant other! I was not disappointed! It's different from anything I have tried, that may rub some people the wrong way. The atmosphere was part of the whole package I'd describe it as upscale casual. The server, and all the staff we interacted with, were friendly, and helpful!
I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a great tasting new experience!
We were drawn toward Mazza because of the great Google reviews. The reviews were accurate - a great place to eat! It was our first visit, so Amanda our server patiently went through the menu with us. She recommended that the two of us share 4 appetizers/starters for $16 (so we can experience a variety of menu options) and then share an entree. We chose the lamb shank and it was exquisite. The entree was enough food to feed four people. We liked the atmosphere and positive energy we experienced. No downside to this restaurant. Keep up the good work! Highly recommend.
Wonderful dining experience with my family. Our server was awesome! All of our dishes were flavorful and the perfect portion size. Love that they have several vegetarian and vegan options. We will definitely be back!!
Love this place! First time my wife had Middle Eastern food and couldn't have made a better choice. The owner came to our table a couple of time and he visited with every table during our visit, really cares about what he does and the people that come through his doors. The food? The only negative I have is that I didn't have more room. Definitely has opened up some interests to try cooking at home.
The food was great, but the service was slow. It was during their lunch hour.
This is my favorite Mazza location - the food, atmosphere and wait staff is incredible. Also - wonderful take out for a weekday. Surprisingly they have the BEST fries and fry sauce ever. Everything i've tried off their menu has been delicious. No complaints here. The other location is good, but is larger so the atmosphere isn't as great.
Very nice atmosphere. Come early as the dinner crowd really picks up. The food was amazing! Their humus is super creamy and delicious. We also had the spiced feta and walnut flat bread, so delicious!
Loved it. My wife had the combo plate and raved about all three items - Humus, grape leaves and red lentil soup. My red wine from Israel matched the lamb perfectly. The apricot turnover and coffee were an excellent way to finish. Oh, and the ambience is delightful as well.
I am not well versed on Middle Eastern cuisine but the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The larger location has a nice, well lit and well decorated interior which sets the mood for a great meal. If you are looking for Middle Eastern food I would highly recommend Mazza, I would also recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something that you wouldn’t normally order, I have discovered some amazing dishes this way. If you know more about the authenticity of the food and Middle Eastern food culture then shoot me an email.
I just ordered a Falafel because I wasn't too hungry and it was FANTASTIC! Best in the state for sure. But while I was waiting, the smells would roll out of the kitchen in waves and each one was more rich and tantalizing than the one before. I'll definitely be back. The service was also fantastic. And the ambiance was on point!
The service was above average, the food was excellent quality and more than most of my party could finish.
The only problem was the noise level was high - we were there for a dinner meeting and it was about the same noise level as a school cafeteria, making group discussion impossible.
It would have been fine for a party of two to four people, but I'm going to say it's a great place to eat, but not the place to hold that business meeting.
