As a coffee shop owner myself, not from the area, I can assure you that this place will not disappoint. The coffee is exceptional, service was superb, and the array and arrangement of books provides a cultured atmosphere.

what can I say, that hasn't already been said? It's a hip spot with great staff with a variety of events happening on the daily! Been coming here for almost 2 months JUST for Old Vinyl Night. I love it! Now that's a hot plate!

The best macchiato, and the best place to know about all the theatre and arts events in town.

The last time I was there, I spent 45$ on books, a veggie pot pie, an apple, two bags of chips and hummus. I was not disappointed in the slightest; well, I was -- I didn't bring enough money.

I am new in Salina during a 3 month work assignment. Hands down, my favorite place in this town! Brooke, the barista, is delightful! Love the ambience of Ad Astra.

I love this coffee shop so much! It's so cozy! I always feel right at home. They have a good selection of books and a wide variety of beverages. I also love that they sell products from local artists and creators. YOU MUST STOP HERE!

Long road trips need coffee! Thank goodness this place is just off I-35. Cute place to walk around. Lots of coffee options and bakery options. I think they could make their coffee stronger, it had a tea flavor to it though it was good flavor. They had posters talking about poetry and open mike nights and other events they had there. Overall seems like a fun place to go if you are a resident.

Tasty Coffee!! A great selection of coffees and espresso drinks. Pour over and french press or drip or whatever/however you want it. On top of that they have beans from roasters all over Kansas and a good selection at that. All of that being said... this place was also the comfiest coziest quaintest place. its a bookstore and that adds to the appeal since bookstores are always cozy places. MUST GO. cant describe the feeling of it but when you walk in you will feel it. If i could transplant this to be the coffee shop in every town I go to i would.

This place is very warm and inviting. The baristas are great and knowledgeable. There are a lot of books inside that you are free to read. Perfect place for breakfast.

Lovely find on the North end of the main drag in Salina. Stopped in on a long road trip after wandering up and down the street, admiring the buildings and imagining the history (hint: interpretative signs would be wonderful). I always like to help support local businesses and enjoyed both my decaf flat white and locally made molasses cookie. Very diverse crowd of folks along with what seems like a diverse selection of books. Highly recommended!

Has a lot of charm. A real small town place, not like a chain coffee house. They are always super nice there, and they sell a variety of local products, used items and yummy treats.

It is very quiet and clean. The owner is definitely environmentally conscious, open and friendly. The shop is designed with everyone in mind from those just looking for a place to study or socialize and also for those that have children or looking for a new read. The coffee is generally more robust than other places however they do have many different selections. This place is for those who truly like coffee. I have been to all of the coffee shops in Salina and I would choose this over the chain stores.
