Review Bigos Mexican Restaurant - Salem

Very sweet and nice servers, good food and decent prices! My family eats here pretty often and I will hopefully get to join them more. Their Steak Fries are delicious and their chicken is very juicy and tender.

Tacos Especial, quacamole and the only place to get a draft beer in Salem

Just go and enjoy yourself. Food is great and they are friendly. I go at least every 2 weeks if not more

Easy to miss because the sign is so faded, but worth seeking out! Patio dining is an option, and the server was super nice. Beer is served in a frosty mug, and I forget what my meal was called but it was a flour tortilla stuffed with chorizo, steak, and cheese--and it was excellent. (Trivia: Bigos is in a former Pizza Hut.)

I love the taco “especial” yummy and not greasy, healthy alternative!

The food is amazing! Prices are a bit high but I like the quality of food, so I'll pay the extra. And let's not forget the frozen margarita's!!! Yum

Enjoy our evening dining experience. Only complaint was the rice and beans were just okay. Didn't complain because everything else was great. Would suggest to friends in a heartbeat.

We have not had a chance to try many new restaurants lately but a friend recommended this one and we wanted something special for our anniversary so decided to give it a shot

Friday July 27, 2018 This place used to be my families favorite dining spot in Salem. Over the past few months we’ve noticed the quality of staff going downhill a bit and they seem to be understaffed often. But this night was by far the worst experience ever and It took everything in me to not make a complete ass of myself and just give this girl a very loud lesson in customer service. Whoever the young woman is running the register at Bigos in Salem Friday Night (5ish) is causing them to lose customers. There is ONE waitress, the place is packed compared to normal and she is taking her sweet time checking people out, ignoring others that are standing there... 5 minutes or more to literally take someone’s money. Usually a kind, “I’ll be right with you.” Goes a long way. The waitress is running around doing her best and the girl behind the counter finally hollers after just staring at us over and over and tells us that we can sit where ever. So we do. So do all the other families behind us that were standing by the door waiting to be seated. Not a big deal. We sat patiently for a good 15 minutes with no drink order taken while the waitress had been past us a few times tending to the other tables and trying to cover everyone. Again with the girl behind the counter staring at us and seeing everything. I noticed the girl behind the counter once again having nothing to do I said “excuse me could you take our drink order and our order?” She hollers across the room for the waitress! I said “she’s busy, can you just wait on us please?” THE LITTLE SNOT SAYs in a hateful tone, “sorry, ITS NOT MY JOB!” Yep... that went through me. That’s when we just left! We went down the road to the other Mexican Restaurant Arindas and were seated by a nice young man that took our drink order immediately, and our food was literally delivered to the table piping hot in less than 15-20 minutes and it was delicious. I highly recommend Arindas! Some people should never be allowed to work with the public!

Ate there today, had a big ass burrito AND got directions. Burrito was hella.
