China King

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant ever! Everything they make is top shelf and in all the years I've been going to China King, it is never a disappointment! Their prices are very reasonable considering how much food you get for the money. You can easily feed 2-3 people for 20 bucks. Don't take no mind to the way the restaurant looks because some of the best foods you will ever have comes from a greasy spoon type atmosphere.

The only reasonable option for chinese food in salem. Food was piping hot, very good portions and the bourbon Street chicken was fantastic. My only issue is no indoor or outdoor food seating, no delivery to speak of and typical Chinese restaurant shenanigans (ie hoisin sauce as a base for many means, over usage of msg etc). That said, still one of the better places I have been for food in salem.

Best Chinese place ever!! At first glance it doesn't look like it'll be a good place for Chinese take-out but these people make the best I've ever had. I've eaten Chinese all over Missouri, California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, New York, Florida, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I recommend the fried Rice, lomein noodles, dumplings, teriyaki chicken on a stick, and the Sweet & Sour Sambo (those are my favorites) but everything they make is absolutely fantastic. The people are awesome too; Very professional, friendly, and easy to talk to.
