Papa Johns Pizza

Honestly, I almost never have an issue when I order at this location. Out of all the pizza places in Salem, this one is the most consistent. It's always hot and fresh, and it's nearly always on time. Pickup or delivery. The one time I ever had an issue, almost two years ago, they gave me the pizza free. It feels nice to have good pizza, because when I was up near pittsburgh there just wasn't any. 10/10. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I ordered a large sausage and banana pepper pizza and some garlic knots for my boss and I, and didn't realize that I had put it under carry-out instead of delivery. When I called to switch it over, a guy named Steve answered the phone, he was extremely short in his responses, rude and acted like it was such a terrible inconvenience that he had to switch my order over for me. He still got the delivery fee paid so its not like he was getting shorted by my mistake. I later found out that he is a MANAGER! I tipped my awesome driver, she was great and so friendly, but he honestly sounded like he hated the world and I'll think twice before ordering from this company again. Update: 4/16/2022 Just called to order and was sent to a call center where no one was able to speak English properly, can't understand anyone and she messed up my order after interrupting me everytime I went to speak to answer questions they asked. Finally I told her to cancel the order and just forget it and I hung up. Ordered from Alfredo's instead. MUCH better decision.

It was the only place open so late, so we gave it a try. Everyone was very nice, but no masks and no gloves when going from register to cooking and from outside to cooking, really made me nervous. I am a immunocompromised, so I am extra cautious. I would not have stopped there if I had known how laid back everyone seemed about handwashing between doing different duties. One item was left off our order. We even discussed which sauce we wanted with it, and it was still left off. No big deal. I called. They offered to make it, but we were already 15 minutes away and had missed half of the fireworks. The meatballs taste like the frozen ones we get from any stores' freezer section. The employees had great attitudes, but I wish there was more caution when they can make us sick because they didn't be careful.
