We had our son’s basketball banquet here and it was wonderful! This is the first time we’d ever been to the Pizza Den. They were friendly and welcoming to our large group. I called ahead and when we arrived they were organized and ready for us. Our server was friendly and attentive. Even though it got busy, she still took great care of everyone. The pizza was great too. Cozy atmosphere and lots for the kids to do (free video games & pool tables). We’ll definitely be back as a family & this will be our new banquet spot too. Definitely recommend!!

I'm not a fan of the food and I don't drink beer. I never thought I'd say this, but 5 stars as a live music venue and I can't wait for the next one.

Pizza Den was a fixture of Salem, every Sunday that my parents, sister and I didn't go to visit family after church, there was a good chance we would end up there. I've visited a fair number of times over the past decade, and it was still enjoyable, good pizza, and familiar ambiance.
To my surprise the Pizza Den apparently had moved when I last tried to visit, but my girlfriend said she had definitely seen an ad for it, so we were sure it still existed. After finding it we were kind of excited to see the changes.
We walked in and its definitely a different feel, I believe it's in the location of the former Awful Arthur's, and it still has a stage, which is a little weird for this kind of place. A lot of kid sized arcade cabinets liter the walls, a pool table, and a few other things it looked like people could interact with along the back wall but I had no idea what they were.
We ordered two buffets and had a shot at the pizza, and it was overwhelmingly disappointing. It had no redeeming qualities, a decent variety still, but none of the pizzas tasted very distinct, when they had any flavor at all. My girlfriend likened the sauce more to a bland spaghetti sauce. To top off my disappointment, there was no chocolate pizza, and they only put out a cherry desert pizza as we were leaving.
To our surprise we found out the arcade games were set to free play, and my girlfriend and I enjoyed a few rounds of Battletoads. So if you have kids who don't really care about the quality of the food they eat and just want to have some fun, might be worth some money, but eat somewhere else yourself.
Edit: I stand by my review as being true, but due to the owner's explanation of the current circumstances, I'm modifying my score to give them the benefit of the doubt. I'll look forward to the new location and the end of the supply chain issues, and hopefully the return of the better pizza

I really love Pizza Den and was so excited when they reopened. Like many places they have been dealing with supply chain shortages. This is a great restaurant with unique thin crust style pizza that is hard to find these days. It’s run by a great family that cares about the restaurant and community. I hope people will support it so it can be around a long time to come. Great pizza and great people. What more could you ask for?

I went on a Friday night and the music was amazing! The atmosphere inviting, relaxing and fun and Zach is the best! The dude bartender that was there was also super awesome, I just wish I would've caught his name. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone and they even have a little kid zone as well as a pool table, game machines and more! There is something for everyone and the food? Omg, chef's kiss! Amazing!

Gluten Free pizza was the worst I ever had. Over cooked, sparse toppings, and I had difficulty biting through the crust because it was so tough. I was told they were generous with the toppings, that was not the case at all. We were put in a cold corner and never took off our coats. We were there for over an hour and after a long wait to order, the server never returned after dropping the pizza off. Had to go to the front to ask for the check. Food and service awful. Never returning.

My wife and I ate lunch there today. We ate there about a year ago and we're very disappointed. We thought we would give it a second chance. But unfortunately the food was worse than before. The pizza was terrible. A store bought pizza would have been better than what we ate. The waitress was very nice, but that's the only positive. Definitely not the same Pizza Den from years ago. Not worth the money.

Pizza Den use to be good. Great people food was always fresh. Finally went to the new location in Salem. Trust me I will NOT be coming back. The waiter just stood there playing on his phone. The food was old. And learned that they use spaghetti sauce for pizza sauce. It was gross. Not a friendly atmosphere at all. I will.not suggest this place to anyone. A McDonald's hamburger taste better. And I love pizza.
