I've lived in this area for 30 years. Blue House was a reputable pizza place with a thick, greek-style pizza crust which set it apart from the thin and crunchy style pizza places mostly surrounding the area.
I just had the pizza here for the first time in months.
My pizza was on a seemingly pre-made crust, thin as a piece of cardboard with hardly any flavor, chew, or crunch to it... absolutely nothing like Blue House Pizza is supposed to be. This was fake crust. I doubt they make their own dough for this current style of pizza.
The toppings were good and the pizza was well put together despite the despicable cardboard pizza crust therefore earning the
2 stars as oppose to 1 star.
Maybe the new owners don't care about making a reputable pizza...
But if you want your restaurant to stay alive, you better change the pizza back. Your business will die if this new cheaper style of pizza is the new norm.
The other food maybe still be good, I'm speaking only of the pizza in this moment.

My family has always loved Blue House. We ventured to other eateries throughout the years, but recently started coming here again. Even in these times where everyone is jacking up prices, they've managed to keep decent prices and the food is still very good. The staff is always friendly in person and over the phone.

I've been coming here for about 1 year now. I have ordered just about everything on the menu. It's always been top notch food, fresh and plentiful. But best of all, the guys here make you feel welcome and appreciate your patronage. Pretty much my favorite place.

The roast beef is GREAT! I had the Super Onion Roll today and was impressed by every bite. The staff is friendly and conversational as well. Thank you Blue House!

I have been coming here for about 2 yrs. for mostly the roast beef sandwiches but occasionally I have had cheese pizza from there as well.The roast beef is the best I have had in this area and the best portions.The pizza is also good.I am also very impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant and the bathrooms.The staff members are also very polite and pleasant.

My group spent $125 on an order. Part of the order included two roast beefs with sauce and extra sauce on the side. One of them came without sauce and we received no extra sauce (which I believe costs extra). We called them back asking if they could deliver the sauce that we ordered and the manager shrugged us off with a "if we're able to", meaning no.
The food was fine but a roast beef sandwich with no sauce doesn't really taste like anything... I didn't even eat the sandwich because again it doesn't taste like much.
As a side note, this was the second time in a row that they have done this...

I used to be an EVERY Friday night customer getting the same order, hot super roast beef on the regular roll. I don't like onion rolls,. Anyhoo, I was going to order from here until I saw the new owners have JACKED UP the prices that do NOT reflect the quality and quantity of food you get. This is a FAST FOOD place, NOT a FANCY SIT DOWN, WAITRESS RESTAURANT! HIGHEST PRICED FAST FOOD TAKE OUT N SALEM. I wasn't impressed with the new owners quaipf food a few yrs ago so I stopped coming in. I figured but now they have to be better at running the place. And here I see JACKED TO MAX PRICES! NO THANKS
