Old Country Buffet

I went there because a coupon came in the mail. Without the savings, and possibly even with, what you get isn't worth the price. All of the food ranged from "not very good" to "decent at best." The baked chicken and fish were mostly flavorless, and there wasn't a whole lot more that even looked like it was worth trying. Likewise, my fiancee wasn't impressed by their tacos or pasta. They did have dishes of pulled pork and red potatoes which were quite good. In hindsight, I wish I had just eaten those. Desert wasn't any better. I got ice cream and brownies. The ice cream was like any other soft serve machine, but the brownies were weirdly crunchy and seemed to be sitting out for a long time. I tried getting hot fudge, but the dispenser wasn't working, and everything else looked crusty and unappetizing. The overall cleanliness of the place didn't help. My fiancee and I both got "clean" plates that still had crusted-on food on them, and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I'll spare the details, just in case readers do still have an appetite, but trust my word when I say you're better off holding it. All in all, it wasn't by any means the worst dining experience, but the best thing I can say about it is that it was simply unimpressive.

I lived in Marietta 65 years and just went to the buffet two months ago. Anyone looking for a great deal, great food, great service you've got to give this place a try. The food was just incredible. we've been back 5 times. If you've had a bad experience, give it another shot. This place upped their game, and it is awesome.

This place was completely revolting. My boyfriend and I paid $30 for cold Mac and cheese, breaded hotdogs, and stale cookies. Food was absolutely terrible. Also, any McDonald's in America is cleaner than this buffet. Food still stuck to the plates and food slopped everywhere. Most unpleasant dining experience I've ever had.

My family often dine at the Country Buffet in our area of NJ, so while visiting family in Lancaster during the Memorial Day weekend we decided to go to the Country Buffet. Upon entering I noticed that the restaurant was smaller than usual and it looked dingy. The buffet area was dirty and there were empty food pans left on the buffet, no steady flow of freshly cook food. The staff appeared to consist of all teenagers who were just standing around conversing with each other. We initially paid to eat but after seeing these conditions we asked for a refund.
